He managed to calm himself down enough to stand up again. He saw the piece of paper, and curiosity got the better of him. He grabbed it, opening it up.

It had the words insane, useless, unwanted, and lonely scribbled around Landyn's name. as that was going on Landyn ran to the woods near by crying. "Stop thinking people care about you. You'll just end up making them hate you all over again."

Alex let out a choked sob. “I’m sorry Landyn. I-I should’ve been there to help you. But instead…” a tear fell, smudging the paper “I’m just useless all over again”

Landyn fell to the ground hard. twisting his ankle. "F-Frick…Oww…" he held his ankle tightly. "See useless…"

‘You have to find him’ a voice told him. He knew he couldn’t talk to Landyn right now, not when he was breaking down like this. He pulled his phone out, sending him a text. “Are you okay????”

Landyn noticed the message.
I…Don't see why you're talking to a person like me…I can tell I scare you…
He started crying again. "Why can't I stop thinking like this…You know he'd never like you back…"

He felt the tears fall, full of self-loathing. “It’s not your fault Landyn. None of this is your fault. It’s my stupid issues that had to pop up at the worst time.” He responded.

I was acting crazy…Alex…I'm insane…No one screams like that on purpose…But I did…I…I'm not sure why i thought someone would care…Everyone either hates me or is scared of me…That's why…I can't say what you wanted me to earlier…I scare you and …nvm…
He tried moving his foot but with no success.

Alex grabbed Landyn’s ukulele case and ran as fast as he could. He made it there within a few minutes. “L-Landyn?” He called, wiping the remainder of his tears away.

"…Over…here…" he was still holding his ankle

“Oh my God…” he rushed over. “What happened?! Are you okay?!”

"…Just a fall…"

“You idiot!” He exclaimed, but not in anger. Tears welled up in his eyes again. “Do you have any idea how worried I was about you????”

"…" Landyn held himself tightly.

“I’m so sorry Landyn. I should’ve said something.”

He finally cracked. "I like you…But…F-…I…" He looked away shaking. "I know you don't feel that way towards me…" he nervously laughs. "I'm such an idiot…"

“L-Landyn I…I like you too but…I’m complicated. I didn’t want to tell you because I didn’t want you to get hurt.”

"it's more like I hurt you…Why am I like this…I make everyone hate me in the end anyways…Or even a little afraid of me…Don't think I couldn't tell you were scared of me back there…"

He started crying “You don’t get it Landyn! That’s not your fault! Sometimes yelling is one of my triggers…”

"…And I keep yelling…"

“But you couldn’t have known that! Because I didn’t tell you about anything I’m suffering through right now.”

"…I just…Think you deserve better…I'm not worth your time"

“No, if anything I deserve to be alone forever. I’ve never done anything for this world, and no one needs me here. That’s all I’ve ever been told.” He paused, looking down. “You’re the only one who seems to think that I’m worth something.”

"If anything you've done more for me than I have for you."

“B-but even if that’s true, you actually care about me. You don’t have any ulterior motives, you just like me for me. That’s more than anyone’s ever done for me.”

Landyn sighed. "Awkward people trying to make awkward people feel better…Funny…" he nervously laughs
