"Sure," King agreed with a little smile. He finished up his meal and checked his phone quickly, "Have a movie in mind?"
Hero vs Villain (O/O)
"Not really, but I'm sure there's something." He hummed happily as he wandered through the movies and disks. Kings phone started to go off.
"I got to take this really quick," King called out to Pax as he stayed in the kitchen where he could see Pax. He quickly picked his phone up and answered the call without looking at the ID, "Where are you?"
(Bump?)
Pax nods before settling onto the couch and snuggling into a blanket.
Colby gasped and shuddered as he tried to stem the blood flow as the scarlet liquid dripped from his stomach. "Abandoned factory, about forty-five minutes from the house… East bound." He coughed and groaned. "King I- I don't think I- Tell Pax I'm sorry… You- please… Please keep him safe…" He whispered. He was crying by now, the pain to much, the puddle of blood slowly growing.
"Like hell you won't. I'm coming right now," King had started to grab for his gear the moment he had heard Colby's voice. He was being careful about keeping an eye on Pax while also staying out of sight. He got to the door just as he put his hair into the low pony tail and called out to Pax, "I have to head out for a bit. Don't let anyone in got it? I'll see you later."
With that he left and placed one of his yellow crystals creating a barrier of electricity around the house. It was fairly unnoticeable, but his eyes widened a little before shaking his head and turning away. The factory was a ways away but he could make it in time. He had to.
He chuckled weakly into the phone. "We'll… We'll see about that yeah?" He mutters softly, fighting to stay awake. He looked around. "Please be careful… I don't know if they're gone." He whispered. Everything hurt, and he just wanted to fall asleep. He didn't, in fact he refused. But, it was getting harder and harder to do so.
Pax nods, "Alright. Is… everything okay?" He asks as he sits up slowly.
King looked over at Pax, "Yeah, Everything's fine. I just got a call from a family member and I need to head over to there place. That's all Pax."
He put the phone back up to his ear and found his motorcycle, "Just keep talking to me okay? Focus on something. I'll be there soon."
King did his incredibly stupid thing of hopping on revving the engine and riding out while staying on the phone. He had made sure to buy an earpiece one time so he could listen to the music on his phone while riding and now it would have to work as a makeshift phone. He sped off in the direction of the warehouse, not caring about speed limits or anything like that.
He shuddered weakly, curling in on himself despite the pain. He was becoming cold, his eyes fighting to stay open. "Y-yeah… Alright." He whispers as he looks around the warehouse. "K-keep talking to me please." he mutters, coughing weakly. "D-do you have any plans Saturday?" He asks after a moment.
"No plans Saturday," King felt a small smirk make its way to his lips despite the severity of the situation. He looked around for a warehouse trying to spot it, "Other than ya know, helping you and Pax. What? Planning something devious that day?"
"Good… good." He mumbles, a smile twitching it's way onto his face. He laughed at that before shaking his head. "No, no… Unless you consider me asking you on a date devious." He mutters, coughing harshly. "Maybe to a drive in movie, or go somewhere…" He hissed in pain before smiling weakly as he stared up at the ceiling.
King grinned at the laugh, spotting the warehouse and making a sharp turn towards it. He was ready for a fight and had even shocked himself that he made it there that quickly. He hopped off his bike and began running into the building a red crystal in hand, "Either sounds lovely. Of course, I much rather do this in person. Where are you in the warehouse? Door hallway? Main area?"
"I'm guessing that's a yes…" He mumbles weakly. "T-top floor, main area…" He whispers before the phone fell out of his hand, his eyes slowly shutting. He could feel himself start to give in, becoming weaker and weaker. He wasn't sure what was going to happen after this, but he was scared.
"Yes, it's a yes," King responded hearing Colby's voice get weaker. He didn't spot anyone, thank god, and he used one of his cloudy crystals to jettison himself up to the top floor before rolling to prevent any injuries. He looked around before seeing Colby on the floor bleeding out. His entire body filled with rage for whoever did this before being flooded out with worry. He ran over and stopped kneeling next to Colby. He began to reach around for anything he could use to help stop the bleeding, "Hey. Hey, I'm here. You're going to be okay."
Colby's breathing was shaky and shuddering with pain. He heard someone enter but he had no strength left to move. He looked up slowly, and smiled weakly. "Hey there, King." He whispers as he tries to shift. "Glad to see you…" He mutters his eyes fluttering shut before he tried to open them again. "Glad to see a friendly face."
"Wish the circumstances were better," King muttered finally grabbed a frosted crystal. He placed it over the wound and started to freeze the blood in hopes of slowing the bleeding out process, "This is going to sting a little okay? Once I'm sure your not going to bleed out I'm taking you back to the house, got it?"
He laughed softy. "So do I…" He whispers as he looks up at the other. "Alright…" He was already in enough pain that everything else felt minor. He sighed at the feeling of the ice against his skin. It actually felt quite nice.
King laughed as he watched the ice spread across his skin. He waited until it had fully spread before carefully moving to pick Colby up. One arm going towards his knees the other more towards the back area, "I'm picking you up now alright? Let me know if anything hurts."
"Everything hurts, but I'll let you know if something hurts more then the others." He teased in reply, slowly opening his eyes as he looked up at the other and smiled weakly. "Thank you for coming to get me." He whispers.
"I don't doubt it," King felt a slight laugh bubble up as he got off his knee carrying Colby bridal style. He was careful as he moved through the warehouse keeping one eye open, "Of course I came to get you. I, I care about you."
He groaned when the other picked him up before laughing weakly. He rests his head on Kings shoulder, his eyes shutting. "Thank you for coming for me. And I care about you too…"
King smiled as he looked over at Colby. It was a little difficult to carry the taller male, but doable. He quickly switched back to be vigilant, “I’m glad it’s mutual. Think you can stay with me a little bit longer Colby?”
Colby faded in and out of reality, shuddering a little in pain. He glances over at the other and smiles weakly. "I'll try… Take me… take me to Angela… She'll know what to do." He whispers, "Her coordinates are already in your phone. I placed them with my number."
"Got it," King responded finally reaching the bottom floor and started heading off towards his motorcycle. He gently put Colby in front of him on the bike before sitting on the back resting the other male on him. It was difficult, but there was no other option. He pulled out his phone and got directions to the coordinates before putting it back away, "Is she an old friend of yours?"
"I guess you could say that…" He mumbles softly, groaning weakly. "She's an old family friend." He mutters as he leans into the other. He felt like he was getting weaker and weaker. "She knows about my situation."
King kept a grip on Colby as he started the bike up. He wanted to speed once more but didn't think that would be best for Colby at the very moment so he took his own pace. It didn't seem Angela's place was that far from the warehouse, maybe thirty minutes or so, "Okay. So date ideas? Dinner and then a movie?"
He shuddered a little and curled closer to the other. "M-maybe we could go out for dinner, maybe we could go and see a movie? Stargazing?" He offers weakly. He shut his eyes as they talked.
After a little while, they make it to a small house in the middle of nowhere. The house seemed well taken care of despite looking old. A woman was already standing outside when they arrived.
"I wouldn't mind stargazing," King responded as Colby offered. Once they arrived King made sure he had a grip on Colby as he parked his bike and started to carry him to the woman. His eyes cried for help as he approached, "Angela right? You can help him right?"
She gazed at him for a moment before shaking her head. "No. She's my wife. She alerted me you were on your way." She smiled a little bit before shaking her head. "Please, come in. Angela's waiting inside." She leads them into the house, humming a little to herself.
"Okay," King nodded and followed along. He had an eye on Colby and knew the other was alive. He wasn't sure if Colby was awake and asked him quietly, "Colby? Are you with me still?"
