"Oh I always listen, dear," Jax responded. He was beginning to panic internally where was this conversation going.
Eric bit his lip slightly, smiling slightly as he looked back down at some records.
Jackson went back to the records trying to keep his face from bursting out red. what would the people in here think? Two guys kind of flirting, kind of fighting, it was weird to them right?
Eric looked up at the guy approaching them, and grinned. "Ramone, Thunders, or Rotten?" He asked him, trying not to laugh.
"Can it, or you'll be like your namesakes band!" The guy said, fake glaring. "But really, ya haven't been in lately, what's up?"
Jackson glanced up to see Eric talking to some other boy. He didn't make any comment, instead looking back through the records figuring they knew each other. It didn't seem hostile.
"Sorry, Johnny boy, I had things." Eric said, chuckling and ruffling up the shorter boy's hair. Liar
"Can you not do that?" The boy-Johnny-muttered, fixing his hair. "But fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnneeeeeeeeeee…"
Jackson looked back up to see Eric ruffling Johnny's hair. It made him feel weird things, but he ignored the weird things.
"Johnny, this is Jax- shut up- and Jax, this is Johnny, the one person annoying enough to be considered my baby brother." Eric said, smiling.
"Oh, so you're Jax!" Johnny said, giving Eric a look. Eric glared back.
Jackson raised a slight eyebrow at that, but quickly dismissed it. He smiled over at them, "Nice to meet you Johnny."
"Nice to finally meet you too." Johnny said, deciding to be polite for Eric's sake.
Eric smiled slightly. "Fair warning, our Johnny boy is a little shit."
"Of course he is," Jackson said with a slight laugh as he rolled his eyes, "I suppose Eric has talked about me a lot?"
"Oh, he won't shut u-"
Eric clamped a hand over Johnny's mouth, laughing awkwardly. "Kids… ya know."
Johnny forced Eric's hand off his mouth. "I'm a year younger than you!"
Jackson let out a louder laugh, "Still a kid to us. Sooo Eric, got something you want to tell me?"
"Oh! I've been trying yo make him tell ya-"
Eric slapped his hand over the other boy's mouth. "Nothing!" He said, face red and voice cracking.
"You don't have to tell me," Jax had a calm smile has his cheeks turned a light pink. He had just been teasing, maybe that hadn't been a good idea, "Got that Johnny boy?"
Eric smiled softly. "Thanks."
Johnny rolled his eyes slightly, trying to pull Eric's hand away.
Jackson's smile grew, "It's no problem."
Johnny ducked under Eric's arm. "Welp, I'm gonna go talk to Mary." He said, walking away.
Eric rolled his eyes. "Sorry about him."
Jackson laughed slightly again, "No it's fine. He's an interesting kid."
Eric nodded. "Yeah, you can say that." He said, smiling a bit.
"I hope everything you've said has been all good things. Right, darling?" Jackson asked going back to his teasing manner.
"Of course, angel." He said, teasing right back. "What else could I say?"
"That's wonderful, dearie," Jackson smiled over at him.
"I do try, honey." Eric said, looking down so he wouldn't notice his blush deepen.
"I would hope so, beautiful," Jackson began to make his way over to where Eric was. He had looked through the record and didn't see anything interesting to him.
Eric bit his lip, mind screaming as he looked up. "Anything for you, sweetheart."
"Well thank you, love," Jackson said with a blush slowly growing. He could clearly see Eric's red face and his gay panic went off.
