Eric ate quietly, leg bouncing again.
Hey, wanna gay one on one?
"So, uh, have any homework?" Jax asked Eric trying to make conversation once again.
"A bit. Doubt I'll actually do it though." He admitted, shrugging.
"You really don't want to graduate do you?" Jackson made as a slight comment. He meant no harm, it was just Eric always came late and now he didn't do his homework?
"Not like I would anyway." He said offhandedly. "Do I really look like someone who would get to graduation if he tried?" He asked, laughing.
“Probably not,” Jax responded honestly with a slight laugh, “But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try.”
"Not much of a point." He admitted. "Why should I just set myself up for disappointment?"
“Maybe for a semi stable job?” Jax offered up to Eric, “Or not having to go through senior year again?”
Eric shrugged. "Maybe." Was all he said. Don't make it awkward by talking about the plan, he's nice, but he's nice enough to try and talk you out of it, and you planned for years.
Jax gave him a slight nod and back to his cone. He had almost finished it off at this point.
Eric took the last two bites of his ice cream, smiling slightly.
Jax smiled back, “So uh, just want to hang here for a bit or go somewhere else?”
"Wanna head somewhere else?" He asked, smiling awkwardly.
"Yeah, that sounds good," Jax stood up from his seat, "Got any ideas?"
Eric though for a second. "Wanna look through some records at the music store or something?" He asked, shrugging.
"We can do that," Jackson nodded and stepped away from the table, "Know of any nearby?"
Eric nodded. "Yeah, I hang out there sometimes." And by sometimes I mean they know me by name-
"Great," Jax smiled at him, "Care to lead the way then?"
Eric nodded hopping up. "Hey ho, let's go." He said, smiling.
Jax laughed and let Eric pass and leave before him, "Off to the music storo."
Eric nodded, walking backwards.
Jackson nodded back, "So you like punk I take it?"
Eric nodded. "Yeah. Music's great, it's a cool subculture with some great people, and it has a cool history." He said, grinning.
"I can tell," Jax grinned, "You know a lot about anything punk don't you?"
"A fair bit." He said, nodding. "I could go on for hours, but I'm not gonna bore you."
"Well don't be afraid to drop something if it pops up, darling," Jax responded, "I might drop some weird facts I know."
Eric fought back a blush, nodding. "Sure thing, angel."
"Got anything else for me, dear," Jax started his cycle through nicknames ignoring the heat trying to radiate from his cheeks.
"Depends, sweetheart, what do ya wanna hear about?" He asked, brushing some hair from his eyes. Stupid hair-
"Anything you got for me, babe," Jax smirked over at him. His eyes were focused on Eric as he brushed the hair away.
