Eric nodded, humming to himself.
Hey, wanna gay one on one?
"What do you plan on getting?" Jackson asked back.
"Chocolate." He said, smiling at him.
Jax let out a slight laugh with a grin, "Of course. I can pay for you, if your okay with that?"
"N-no, it's fine, I've got it." He said, fumbling to get his money out of his bag.
"Okay, that's fine," Jax responded with a nod as he walked up to order grabbing his own wallet, "I just thought since it was my idea, I might pay for you."
Eric shook his head. "Nah, I'd feel bad." He said, trailing after him.
"That's acceptable yeah," Jax said before ordering a strawberry ice cream cone.
Eric waited for him, ordering a chocolate cup on his turn.
Jax had paid for his cone and took it smiling. He hadn't had ice cream in a long time to be honest.
Eric grinned when he got his cup, handing over the money for it. "Where you wanna sit?"
"They have seats outside if you want to sit outside," Jackson offered, "Otherwise there's a table near here."
"…Can we sit outside? It's nice out." He asked, a bit shyly.
Jackson smiled and nodded. He began heading towards the door of the parlor and out to one of the many tables outside with open umbrellas in the center, "Yeah of course. Let's go then."
Eric caught up with him, smiling. "You can pick, if you wanna."
"No, you pick. I, uh, insist," Jackson said letting Eric ahead of him taking a lick of his cone.
Eric nodded, picking a table a bit away from the door, sitting in the seat and smiling at Jackson.
Jackson took a seat next to Eric this time and smiled back. He felt like he had exhausted all suitable conversation topics, even though there were plenty more.
Eric stared on his ice cream, his leg bouncing slightly.
Jackson looked up at Eric and opened his mouth before shutting it again.
Eric looked up slightly, a bit of ice cream at the corner of his mouth. "Yeah?"
"I, uh, was wondering if you had any siblings or something?" Jackson's words stumbled out. He hadn't been expecting Eric to actually notice, and ended up making a question up on the spot. His face was now a light pink as he continued at his ice cream.
Eric shook his head. "Nope. Only child." He said. "You?"
"Same here actually," Jackson responded as he noticed the ice cream on Eric's mouth, "Oh, you've got some ice cream on the corner of your mouth."
Eric looked up, wiping at his mouth. "Did I get it?" He asked, tilting his head.
Jackson shook his head. He almost reached over to do it for Eric, before thinking better and pointing to where it was on his own mouth, "No. It's like right here."
Eric wiped at the spot. "Now?" He looked up, furrowing his browns.
"Yeah, now you got it," Jackson nodded and licked at his cone.
Eric smiled, going back to his own ice cream.
Jackson smiled back and continued eating his own ice cream. He was fine with just eating in silence for now.
