Just... A Reboot RP I Shouldn’t Be Making... @_octane_ COME MORROW

Sobex shut his eyes and yawned widely. There were only a couple teeth in his mouth.
“Isn’t he?”

Murdock frowned slightly when he saw the pup's lack of teeth. "Where are all his teeth?" he asked softly

Gij glanced at him. “Oh. That’s from the place we were at. They did all kinds of stuff to him and I.”

"That's…That's awful," Murdock murmured, his eyes full of sympathy as he gently stroked Sobex's snoot

Sobex purred softly and Gij nodded grimly. “They were not nice people, I'll say that.”

“I can tell,” Murdock mumbled. He continued being affectionate with Sobex, wishing he could make up for all the awful things that happened to them

Sobex purred softly again and put his clawless nubs on Murdock’s face. He waved his tail happily.

"Aww, cutie," Murdock cooed, grinning as he snuggled the pup

Sobex yipped softly and nuzzled Murdock back.
Gij looked around. “Do you have a restroom?”

“Yeah, it’s down the hall to the left,” Murdock said, gesturing to the hall through the kitchen

“Thanks.” Gij shuffled off, and the moment he was out of sight, Sobex started screeching loudly.

“Hey, hey, it’s okay, he’ll be right back,” Murdock tried to soothe, not wanting to listen to a screaming pup

Sobex didn’t let himself be soothed. He waved his nubs around fitfully and his tail smacked everything in sight.

“Hey, hey!” Murdock said, trying to get Sobex to calm down. “It’s okay, he’s just using the restroom!”

Sobex couldn’t understand. No matter how much Murdock wanted him to. He just screeched and flailed wildly.

“Stop it!” Murdock yelled before a wave of calming energy came from him, practically smacking right into Sobex

Sobex yapped and winced at his loud voice, curling up in a tight ball. He relaxed when he was hit, but not a lot.

Murdock quickly realized what he did and immediately felt bad. “I’m sorry, buddy. I shouldn’t have yelled at you,” he mumbled

Sobex now looked like a little shaking centipede that you took by surprise when you picked it up when you were in kindergarten. Sobex gave a tiny yap and shook a little more in fear.

"It's okay, I'm sorry. I won't yell again. You just startled me was all. I didn't mean to scare you," Murdock murmured, trying to soothe the pup by words as well as stroking his horns

Sobex whined and curled up tighter, squeezing his wings to his sides.
Gij came trotting out of the restroom, looking around. “This is a nice place you got.”

"Thanks, but um. I think Sobex wants you, he didn't like when you left," Murdock said sheepishly. He was afraid of hurting or scaring Sobex now

Gij sat and Sobex uncurled and wiggled so he was between the two men. Gij chuckled softly.
“He seems to be okay, now.”

"Are you…Are you sure?" Murdock asked softly, afraid that if he moved too much he might scare or hurt Sobex

Gij nodded. “Yep. He seems pretty calm.”
Sobex set his head down with a yawn.

Murdock smiled and pet Sobex's head gently, rubbing his snoot

(hm…well, Murdock is friends with Temujin, so maybe she comes over at some point?)
