"You can write all the titles then," Lotus said as they began to group up the different facts they had on their computer. They looked to Cat, "And maybe do some graphics to since I suck at art. Mind if I look at your notes?"

”Sure like I said though my handwriting sucks, ” she said handing her the notebook. She writes Artemis at the top of the board.
Lot began to take Cat's notes and put them in with their notes. A few things had been duplicated, but not a whole ton. They ended up creating categories for all the notes and found a format that they thought would look good on the board. Picking up their marker once more they started to write on the marker paper in their perfected writing one group of facts.
Cat finished up the title and then looked at Lotus. ”ok now what?” she asked looking around the board.
Lot handed her a sheet of the different sections, "I was thinking we could do as sections. If you think we need to add, remove, or combine just let me know."
Cat nodded. ”this looks fine, ” she said taking the paper. She made the different sections. ”i can also draw whatever.”
"Mind drawing a bow constellation and other night time things?" Lotus suggested looking up from their writing, "Since Artemis is the goddesses of the hun and the moon and all."
She nodded again. Drawing a bow constellation and then a moon on either side of the title. She also made the dot on the i a moon.
Lot looked up as they went to grab another piece of paper. They had a slight smile on, "Nice."
“Thanks. I’ll make some stars out of paper,” she said picking up construction paper. She took a pair of scissors out of her bag.
Lotus finished writing down the different data and stated to tape the pieces of paper to the board underneath each of the section titles. They gave Cat a slight nod.
She started cutting the stars. Stacking the paper so she could make multiple at a time. When she was down she had a nice pile and got a glue stick.
Lot finished up putting all the things up proud of themselves of how it looked. They looked over to Cat and saw her stars, "Those ready?"
”yep! These are usually good for covering up mistakes, ” she said looking at the board. ”But it doesn't seem like there are any mistakes.”
Lot face paled slightly at the mention of mistakes, but when back to normal after hearing there were no mistakes, "Good. Then just scatter them around then."
Cat nodded and started placing them everywhere. Once she was satisfied with the placement she glued them on.
Lot watched Cat finding nothing else for them to do. The project was done, and the only thing April and Jeff contributed was the board. They were definitely telling the teacher whether Cat wanted them to or not. It was wrong if the pair got credit when they did jackshit to help.
”ok now that that's done can we umm…” she trailed off for a second. ”talk?” she was whispering. Telling herself it was because they were in a library not because she was scared.
Lot felt their body grow cold for a moment. Cat would want to talk about that, and Lot really didn't want to, but it wasn't like they could so, "I, um, sure."
“So um I’m guessing you don’t really want a soulmate?” She asked shifting in her seat slightly. She picked at one of the stars.
"What gave you that impression?" Lot responded their voice laced heavily with sarcasm. They covered their hands with the sleeves of their jacket and let out a sigh figuring it would be best to maybe tone back the sarcasm just this once, "No. No, I really don't."
Cat nodded. ”Yeah finding my soulmate right now probably isn't a great thing for me either but doesn't change the fact that it happened, ” she said looking up at Lotus.
Lot continued to look down at the board. They had moved their hands to their lap trying so desperately to hide their uncomfortableness, "We can always pretend it never happened?"
Cat shook her head. ”Do you really think we'd be able to do that?” she asked sighing. ”What are your other signs?”
"I, uh, monochrome vision. Lot's of it is just gray so I end up going by feeling a lot of times," Lot started feeling worse by the moment, "I have a touch imprint, and no I'm not telling you where. The eye thing, duh. And the whole draw reflection thing too."
Cat nodded. ”So yeah I don't think about of those are easy to hide. We wouldn't be able to accidentally touch or make eye contact for the rest of the year.” If I stay here that long.
"No," Lot shook their head in disagreement, "It won't be that hard. I've already gone 17 years without touching anyone or making eye contact with people. Besides, I'll leave you alone for the rest of the school year and preferably your life, and we both move on with our lives."
”come on Lotus we can't just. Meeting your soulmate is such a rare case. You'd be the most affected anyway. If you wanted you could see in color for the first time right now, ” she Argued. Looking right at her.
Lot felt like they were being pushed into a corner. They felt the lights go brighter once more and they blinked them shut before going to grab their laptop and art supplies, "I don't care. It's my life and my choices. Like you said I'm the most affected, and I, I don't care."
”Fine. Ive been doing fine thinking I was soulmate less I guess this just proves it, ” She mumbles packing her supplies.
