"Oh yeah, like what?" She rolled her eyes with a smile.
๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ช๐ฝ๐ฎ ๐ก๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฑ ๐๐ช๐ฌ๐ด๐ผ!
โLike kill people in a lot of different ways,โ Sterling said with a straight face as he pulled away and started to bring the food to the table.
"It's not something in proud of."
Sterling hummed and made his way back to her. "I mean, there are plenty of other things I could list, but they're not exactly something spoken of so lightly."
"So lightly? Oh please, do tell." She smiled a little.
"Hmโฆ They mostly have to do with us in bed. You have very good lungs," Sterling reminded her in a murmur.
"It was just down the hall, love." She chuckled softly.
"Maybe. But they might have just been the only ones who cared enough to mention it," Sterling chuckled, leaning forward and kissing her quickly.
"Come on, flirt. Can we at least eat first? I don't need the food getting cold." She teased.
โHey, you asked,โ Sterling defended himself as he pulled away. โBut fine. If we must.โ
She rolled her eyes with a smile, taking the food over to the table. "Help yourself."
Sterling chuckled slightly as he took a plateful of food. โHmโฆ Do I want to sit across from you or next to youโฆ?โ
"Your choice, hun." She shrugged, sliding into her seat and taking some food for herself.
Sterling sat down beside her and patted her leg playfully. โThen Iโm sitting here.โ
"Like I said, your choice." She shrugged, just playing the whole thing off like it didn't bother her.
โIโm fully aware, sweetheart,โ Sterling chuckled, kissing her neck before starting in on his food.
She dug into her own food, slow, almost methodical. Her mind was elsewhere, off in the clouds without a care in the world.
Sterling ate a little faster, but he had more food than she did. His hand rested on her thigh as he ate, rubbing gently on her leg.
She shook her head to clear her thoughts, coming back to reality to finish eating, which is what she did.
โYou good over there?โ Sterling asked, a hint of laughter in his voice as he glanced over at her.
"I'm good." She smiled a little, leaning back in her chair.
โIf you say so,โ Sterling chuckled before going back to his food.
She sipped her water, glancing at him from the corner of her eye.
Sterling felt her eyes on him as he ate and simply moved his hand up slightly higher on her leg.
She quirked an eyebrow but didn't say anything.
"Are you just going to stare at me, or was there something you wanted to say?" Sterling wondered.
"If I wanted to say something, I would." She shrugged.
Sterling hummed and finished his food. "All right. Are you finished? Should we clean up and do something?"
"Sounds good!"
โWhat should we do?โ Sterling wondered, standing and grabbing their plates.
