She wanted to give in but decided to tease just a little bit, denying entrance to him.

A rumble escaped from deep in Sterling’s throat, and he nipped at her lips. He knew what she was doing, and it was working… A little.
She smirked against his lips, still keeping hers closed. He'd have to try harder than that.
"You think you're funny, don't you?" Sterling chuckled, pulling away. "Well, fine, then. If you want to play that game, I'll play it my way."
"Sweetheart I don't think I'm funny. I know I'm funny." Her smirk only grew. "If you want it, you're gonna have to work for it."
Sterling tilted his head left and right, seemingly contemplating her words. "Hm… I think I'll make you wait, then. I can hold my own, but can you?"
"You doubt how much an assassin can hold back. I once held back tears about something for 5 months."
"Well, that's… I'm sorry to hear that," Sterling murmured. "And you're so not going to make this easy, are you…?"
"You expected me to?" Her smirk grew wider. "I don't break easy, prepare for a challenge."
Sterling chuckled and shook his head. "No, sweetheart, I didn't expect this to be easy. And I'm fully up for the challenge. Shall we make this interesting?"
"Oh please do make it interesting, I get bored quickly."
“Hm… Let’s say… Whoever purposely touches the other, more than just an accidental brushing against each other, loses. And the loser… Gets to be the other’s slave for the day,” Sterling suggested with a smirk.
"Oh, I'm so in. You're on, pretty boy." She smiled challengingly.
Sterling chuckled and flicked her on the nose. “We start… Now.”
"How long does the game go? A day? A week? Forever?"
"I was thinking until we couldn't stand it anymore," Sterling said with a shrug.
"Hmm…alright fine." You're gonna purposefully lose, aren't you? Well duh. Just the sound of it is kinky, you can't help but wonder.
Sterling grinned down at her, raising an eyebrow. “Purposely losing makes it go longer. Just so you know.”
"Aww come on, not even a forfeit?" She pouted childishly, holding back a smile.
“Unless we’ve lasted longer than a week, no,” Sterling chuckled.
"Then this should be fun." She grinned. Her phone buzzed, effectively making her jump. "Hello?" "Hey! Cassie!" "Oh hey Roxanne, what's up?" "Um, Monica called out and no one else is willing to take her shift. Can you?" "You're kidding me." "Come on! You're the most popular stripper I've got!" "I'm not a stripper!" "You work at a strip club." "And? Just because I work at a strip club doesn't make me a stripper."
Sterling’s eyebrows shot up at the conversation. This was interesting… She hadn’t said anything about a job outside of being an assassin.
"Can you just do it?" "Ugh. Fine. Is Taylor on bar?" "Like always." "Great. So I'll manage to get through this shift." "Thank you!!" "Yeah, yeah. See you in 10." She hung up, placing her phone back in her pocket with a sigh.
"Stripper, eh? What's the deal with that?" Sterling wondered.
"I'm not a stripper. I'm a dancer. There's a difference. I don't escort customers, I wasn't even legal when I got this job. The only reason I have it is because sometimes jobs get far and few in-between and I've still gotta pay rent." She shrugged. "They call me Angel."
Sterling clicked his tongue and looked at her thoughtfully. “But tonight you’re going to be one…?”
"A less than innocent one." She smiled and winked. "I've got to get across town in 5 minutes, I better get going."
“Hm. Maybe I should come with. You never know when someone is going to try to take you away, right?” Sterling suggested, giving her a carefully guarded look.
"I suppose. Besides, I don't have a car and it's a 20 minute walk."
“Well, good for you that I have a car then, huh?” Sterling chuckled. He started to lean over to kiss her before remembering their deal with a sigh. “Shall we, then?”
