Neo sighed. "M and I are always running on that philosophy."

"Well you're lucky then aren't you."

"Not really. M and I always competed and hated each other."

"Yeah but he's still your brother, no matter what."

"Yeah." Neo scowled at the wall. "No matter what."

"Stop saying that like it's a bad thing."

"It is. M will tell you the same thing."

"Having someone that will always be there for you no matter what. Yeah i'm sure it's a bad thing to have someone like that."

"M would be at your side much quicker than mine, you know."

North opened her mouth to say something but decided against it and closed it again.

Neo noticed and scrutinized her. "What?"

She looked up at him. "Nothing."

"Don't try and lie to the God of Mind Readers."

"I honestly had no idea what I was going to say."

Neo rolled his eyes. "Alright. So…" He trailed his gaze down to his lap.

"I can't believe I actually had a conversation with you without getting mad." She muttered.

Neo rolled his eyes.

North laughed a little. "See you tomorrow?"

Neo grinned faintly at her. "I suppose."

North walked down Neo's hallway, looking forward to seeing him a little.

"I don't understand what you want me to do, M," Neo growled at his brother, who looked thoroughly irritated at something. Not to mention, M had grown back that old shabbiness that North originally found him in.
"I just want you to stop carrying that picture around everywhere. It's unhealthy."

North knocked quietly on his door.

"I don't care what's unhealthy and what's not, M. Plus, you're not the one to speak," Neo retorted harshly.

North sighed and knocked louder, not hearing the voices inside.

M opened his mouth to snap back, to be interrupted by Neo.
"Come in!"

"You don't have to yell it's just.." She trailed off, staring up at M.
