Mind Readers, Demons, and Gods, Oh My! (Closed//Stalkers Enabled)

M glared at her like she was something… uh… on the bottom of his foot and brushed past her, towards the door.

She continued looking at him as he walked past her. "I.."

He ignored her and swept open the doors, then out them, slamming them loudly behind him.
Neo shook his head and put his face into his hands. He squeezed violently, digging his fingernails into his scalp.

North stood silent, her eyes wet with tears as she stared at the closed doors.

Neo straightened up, looking stressed and angry but softened at her look. He rose and hugged her, suddenly.

"At my side in a second.." She mumbled, letting him hug her.

"He would. You and I know he would." Neo squeezed her.

She pulled back and looked up at Neo. "Then what was that?" She asked, pointing at the doors.

Neo frowned deeply and let her go, then threw the doors open.
"M!" He bellowed into the silent library.
A few moments passed. "WHAT?"
"GET YOUR DUMB ASS OVER HERE THIS INSTANT!"

"You don't have to do this.." She said quietly, stumbling back a couple steps.

"No, I am," Neo growled at her over his shoulder. "It's stupid of you two to keep this up."
M skulked over angrily, fuming under his long sheet of black hair. When he walked over to Neo, before he could say anything, Neo had grabbed him up by the scruff of M's neck and threw him into the room, as if M had just become a ragdoll.

"Keep what up? I haven't seen him in months!" She said angrily up at Neo, talking as if M wasn't there.

"This… This stupid argument that you started. I don't know what it was, but both of you assholes haven't let me have a moment of peace!"
"Oh, yeah, like you need it," M shot at his twin.

"YOu could've sent me back or told me to stop coming to see you! But you didn't and that's why we're in this situation!"

"Shut up, North! I-"
"HEY!" M snapped harshly, "Don't tell her to shut up!"

North glanced over at M then back at Neo. "Yeah don't tell me i'm wrong, cause you know you could've done something about this!"

Neo rounded on his twin, so their identical noses were touching.
"What did you say to me?"
"I told you not to say shit like that to her."

North stood watching for a minute before she walked up to Neo and pulled him away. "Don't do this, he's still your brother, even if he is on my side." She said quietly.

Neo shook her gently off and walked over to M, who was glaring at them both.
"Apologize, you worthless piece of shit."
"I don't need to apologize to her." What he said was true.

"He doesn't, just let me do this please." She said to Neo.

Neo sighed and looked at her. He looked at M, then back at her.
"Alright." He walked back over to his chair to watch.

North glanced up at M then down to the floor. "Um..so..I'm not really sure how to say this but that week before I left I was thinking about how, well, I guess I thought if I left, you wouldn't worry as much as you did and I wouldn't ruin your life by you trying to help me. And if I was mad at you and you were mad at me, it would make it easier to stand not being able to see you.."

M scowled. "Look, how many times have I told you before that I know? Has it occurred to you, that, possibly, I went through similar things? Being 6000 and all?"

"I'm sorry.." She said quietly, turning away from him, tears rolling down her face.

M sighed and shifted his scrawny shoulders around. "You should be. You really hurt my feelings."

"Saying stuff I don't really mean, It's something I tend to do unfortunately.."

(oh my god did you actually leave before me?? that's a first)

"Yeah, I noticed," M growled.

She turned back around and faced M. "If you're not going to forgive me any time soon then i'll be going."
