“All right, then. Out to the car we go,” Autumn declared, trying to lighten her spirits a bit.
(Skip?)
“All right, then. Out to the car we go,” Autumn declared, trying to lighten her spirits a bit.
(Skip?)
(Yep. To where?)
(Um… Post-hospital visit?
Also, have you been checking the new RP?)
(New RP?
And yea hospital sounds good.)
(The Axton Prep one?
Okay.)
Overall, Jillian seemed to be fine. Maybe in a bit of shock from everything that had happened to her, and she would be sore for a while with all her cuts and bruises, but there wasn’t anything major that they needed to stay for. She could go back with Autumn and Alex to Alex’s house.
(Yeah I’ll get to my character as soon as I can. I’m sorry.)
The doctor also took a couple blood samples and DNA tests to track down her parents. It would take a couple day to get them back.
In the end, Alex gave Jilly a cookie and they were back home. Alex showed the little girl to her room and let Autumn tuck her in.
(Okay. You just hadn’t posted anything in a while, so I was just curious. Take your time!)
“Good night, Jillian. Alex and I will just be a few feet over if you need anything, okay?” Autumn said softly as she stood by the door.
(Thanks for understanding.)
Jilly tucked herself up tentatively into the sheets. The bed was cold and soft….
“Okay. Thank you.” She looked up at her from the brim of the sheet, her eyes wide.
“All right. I’ll see you in the morning, then,” Autumn said gently as she shut the lights off and closed the door behind herself.
(Skip again? Or did you want to have Alex and Autumn time?)
(I was thinking of having Alex and Autumn time.)
(Kk)
Jilly nodded and wiggled into the pillows as Autumn shut the door, looking around in the darkness. She hoped nothing came through her windows again.
Alex had gotten dressed into PJs and grabbed his chromebook, probably to do some work.
Autumn sighed as she stepped into the bedroom, sitting beside Alex on the bed. “Hey. Whatcha working on?”
Alex hummed softly and glanced at her. “Lyrics. An album name.” He laughed softly.
“Sounds like fun,” Autumn joked, leaning her head on his shoulder. “Is there anything I can help with?”
Alex chuckled and looked at the screen. It was filled with random splotches of sentences.
“Nope. I’m just piecing things together.”
“M’kay… I’m glad Jillian was okay,” Autumn said softly.
Alex nodded. “She seems very shaken up.”
“I really wonder what happened. And how she ended up in our bushes,” Autumn mused.
Alex tilted his head a little. “I guess we’ll find out eventually.”
“I suppose. Are you almost done there?” Autumn asked, looking at his screen again.
Alex looked down at her when she looked at his screen. “Not really.”
“Oh. How long do you think you’ll be?” Autumn wondered as she looked over the words.
The words just seemed to be random blips of text. His cursor blinked between ‘many’ and ‘light’.
“I’m not sure. Why?”
“Because I want to cuddle… And then sleep,” Autumn said, turning her gaze back up to him.
Alex smiled and kissed her forehead. “Work calls, baby.”
Autumn sighed and buried her face in his neck, nuzzling him gently. “Fine, fine… But I expect to be made up to tomorrow night.”
Alex chuckled and leaned into her. “I can do the snuggling. But sleep, unsure.”
“No, no. You have to sleep. Tonight, too. Not sleeping is bad for you,” Autumn murmured, scooting down under the covers.
Alex watched her scoot away and leaned back into his pillows. “I suppose it is. But I have work.”
