"Not a problem, sir," she replied and went off to wash his clothes. A few minutes later, she returned. "They're drying now," she informed him. "Would you like some tea in the meantime?"
James nodded his head quickly. It'd be nice to get something warm in his system.
He shut his, letting her play with his chestnut hair.

"Mm.." she murmured, taking his face in her hands.
He opened his dark eyes, peering back sleepily at April.
She gave a tilt of her head, pulling the blanket back up over her chest where it had slipped and reaching up again for him.
He slipped a hand atop hers, curling his fingers through the spaces between hers. "Mm…" Cruz sighed ever so quietly, a noise of unwavered content. "I've never felt happier.."
"I love you," she replied softly, pulling him down and resting his forehead on top of hers.
Cruz tilted his head to lightly kiss her. So gentle with her, was the burly man. Someone so easily capable of a harsh tone and the art of the blade choosing to treat her like the petals of a paper-white.
April let out a relaxed sigh at the kiss, letting her eyes drift shut.
Cruz pulled away after a moment, letting his face hover close to hers. Bands of sunlight passed through the windowpanes, lit everything in a warm shade. Comfortable… Homey. Perfect.
April basked both in the warmth of the sun, and of his gaze, tugging him back down to her again. "C'mere.."
"Mm?" Cruz replied with a mesmerized smile.
She gave him a shy smile, all dimples and messy hair strewn over the pillow. "Besame.." she spoke in Spanish, his native tongue.

He closed his eyes for a moment, gaze softened. "Fine…" The edges of his lips curled into a smile.
"Today, Cruz," she teased softly, reverting back to English and pulling him down to her.
He acquiesced, and shut her eyes to recieve the kiss.
April nudged her soft mouth up against his, her lips parting invitingly.

Of course he swiftly recieved the invitation. April could feel his cat jump on the bed and place a paw on her foot.

She scrunched up her nose a tiny bit, opening her mouth a little wider to receive him. A thrill raced through her, dragging her heart rate up a few notches.
"mau." The cat nagged, and made Cruz laugh a little against her teeth.
April let out a soft laugh of her own, prodding at the cat with her toe. "You're holding back," she teased Cruz, eyes still shut. "Scared?"
"I haven't fed the cat yet," he replied playfully, cupping her cheek.
"Mph, feed me first," she replied just as playfully. "Preferably with your mouth. I'm hungry."
"Oh~," he raised an eyebrow, finding her response deeply amusing.
"Mmhm. Your lover is waiting, Cruz." She ruffled his hair, blowing him a small kiss.
"Well," he tapped his chin teasingly, "Should I go to her?"
