He paid her no mind, wholly focused on the food in front of him. He hadn't eaten in two days, so needless to say, he was hungry as shit.

She glanced over at him and flicked her brows up. "Hungry?" she asked with a hint of amusement.
He set the plate aside, having already finished. "Very. It's been a while since I've eaten."
group
"You want more? It's free." She gestured to the door. "Just ask the receptionist."
He shook his head. "I'll throw up if I eat to much. I'll be happy if I manage to keep this down."
group
"Don't want that." She soon finished her own food and set the plate off to the side, then got up. "Welp, I'm gonna ask for some wine. Be right back." She then got up and left.
"Bye, I guess," he said, laying back down without any plans of going to sleep.
group
Soon enough, she came back, already chugging a bottle of wine. "Two options," she said by greeting once she swallowed the mouthful of liquid in her mouth. "Sleep here for the night, or at the house I have rented."
"The house sounds a bit safer," he said, deciding to ignore the bottle of wine she was drinking.
group
"Then follow me ti prego." She said, gesturing for him to follow.
He got up from the bed with a grunt, shutting the door behind them as they walked out.
group
She led him a little way down the street, then dramatically gestured to a simple house in front of her. "Home sweet home."
"It's fitting," he agreed, waiting for her to unlock the door.
group
She fished the key from her back pocket and unlocked the door, then walked inside.
Runner followed after her, carefully shutting and locking the door behind them. "Does it come with furniture, or are we sleeping on the floor?"
group
She rolled her eyes. They had entered in the living room–which was fully stocked with furnature. "This is a house specifically for travelers. Yes, there's furniture."
"I didn't know, damn," he said, plopping down on the couch.
group
"Make yourself at home. I'm getting drunk because I really need a drink before I potentially die."
"You have fun with that," he said with a snort, taking up the entire couch.
group
She went into the kitchen in search of some more liquor and was not disappointed. She chugged the remainder of her wine, then grabbed a bottle of this place's strongest liquor. "Yeah, baby~!"
He rolled his eyes at her reaction, then stared up at the ceiling in thought. The best place to put the portals would probably around the perimeter, so we can randomly pop up in random places and cause the most havoc. I'm gonna need to see the camp before we can decide exact positions but still.
group
She drank the liquor as she headed upstairs. She had done some shopping as well, so she had some clothes to change into already in their room. Yes, there was only one room with two beds. She didn't really have a problem with it.
She eventually came back down with really short pajama shorts and an oversized shirt that may or may not have been from the men's section.
"Can you describe to me what the camps looks like?" he asked, not glancing over at her.
group
"Beat to hell and filled with fleshy blobs of brainless demons." She took another swig before continuing. "It's in the middle of a rainforest, so it has different levels and a lot of foilage."
"A portal in a tree would be a good idea." His mind began churning. "I'm thinking you should be the only one going through the portals. I can't make my own magic, so I have to rely on the demon's shooting spells at me. While they focus on me, you can zip around , throwing bombs from every angle you can find."
group
"Mmmmmmm…" she hummed, taking a few more swigs. "That sounds like a plan…"
He finally turned to look at her, raising his eyebrows out her outfit. "Maybe you should sit down. It looks like you're about to fall."
group
"Oh, shut up you," she muttered, sitting in the chair opposite him with her legs dangling off the armrest. "I'm perfectly… fine…" she said slowly, drinking some more. Damn, this stuff made it seem she couldn't hold her liquor worth shit.
"You are lying out of your teeth," he said, smiling in slight amusement
group
"I am not," she shot back, sticking out her tongue. She chugged some more.
