Skye hummed, watching him worriedly.
Soulmate(?) one on one (Closed)
The pain in his head got worse, and mixed with his exhaustion, he was breathing heavily for a few seconds before passing out.
Skye noticed he had passed out, and held him worriedly.
"He'll be alright…" Marco said softly, sitting beside Skye. "He honestly needs what little rest he can get."
Skye nodded, looking up at his friend.
"He mentioned that this wasn't an ordinary fever. What did he mean by that?" Marco looked down at Lucas.
"I'm not sure…" said Skye, trying to remmber when the other had said anything about that.
"There were little bursts of magic coming from his body, if that helps."
"Skye hummed worriedly, worrying more by th second.
"It seems like something he would've mentioned to you…"
"He probably did…." said Skye, frustrated with himself.
Lucas groaned softly and opened his eyes blearily, seeing Marco and Skye above him.
Skye's attntion immediately switched to him, "Hey… you okay?" he asked gently.
Lucas blinked to reorient himself. "N-Not really, but yeah… What're you talking about?"
Skye hummed, "Trying to remember what you told me about these fevers you get…"
"Oh… they're sort of like, magic induced fevers? It's a little strange, but I've always gained a new magical ability once they're gone." Lucas lay his head against Skye's chest.
Skye hummed, "Alright…"
"Everything huuurts…" He whined quietly, his eyes shut tight against the pain.
Skye held him close, unsure of what to say.
"When will we be leaving?" Lucas looked up at Skye, circles under his eyes.

"Not until it dries up, and you're feeling better…" he said softly.
(Sorry… stuff…)

"Great…" Lucas drew in a wavering breath. "Hopefully it won't be more than a day or two… I wouldn't want to hold us up too long."
Skye hummed, "Don't worry about it too much.."
(I'm actually sick rn so I can write Lucas's symptoms off of my own. Yaaaay)
Lucas nodded. "I-I know, but still…" He coughed a bit. "I don't wanna be sick longer than it rains. Well, I don't want to be sick at all, but you know what I mean."
Skye nodded, "Understandable, but we're not going anywhere until you can stand properly."
"Alright, I… I suppose that's fair…" Lucas nestled his head in the crook of Skye's neck, vaguely aware that his hot forehead might feel strange on Skye's skin.
Skye watched him, moving to make it more comfortable for him.
"You do realize I probably won't be able to sleep like this, right?" Lucas asked quietly, closing his eyes.
"Then how will you be able to sleep?" asked Skye, genuinely wishing to be helpful.
