"Probably won't, to be honest… don't worry about it." Lucas let his arms fall loosely to his sides.
Soulmate(?) one on one (Closed)
Skye huffed softly, pulling the other into his armsand then flopping back so the other could use him as a matress as he let go.
"W-What are you doing?" Lucas's heart started pounding, and his face flushed more than it had been.
"Making sure you don't have to sleep on the ground while being the protective wolf I am." he said.
"Okay…" It took Lucas a while to relax, but he eventually managed it. He hesitantly wrapped his arms around Skye and closed his eyes.
Skye smiled, hesitantly reaching up to rub the other's back.
Lucas tensed up at the contact at first, but soon made himself comfortable with the idea. He lay his head gently on Skye's chest, exhausted.
Skye was litteral beaming at the fact that Lucas was okay with this.
(Right now Lucas is honestly too tired to care XD)
Lucas managed to sleep on and off for about an hour or two. Although it was nothing substantial, it was better than nothing.
(Yeah well Skye is enjoying the contact..)
Skye kept rubbing his back, hoping to help with any aches and pains.
Lucas sighed softly. His back was still hurting him, and Skye wasn't necessarily helping, but Lucas knew Skye wanted the contact more than he did. He knew it must be hard for the other to have a boyfriend who's afraid of being touched.
Skye sighed, eventually letting go in an attempt to make sure the other was comfortable.
After the hour or two, Lucas sat up and rubbed at his eyes. He still hadn't got much more sleep, but he figured he would be okay.
Skye looked up at him, "Feeling any better?" he asked gently.
Lucas shrugged. "A little bit, I suppose…" He yawned a bit, glancing around the cave.
Skye hummed, watching him.
"Ugh… I just want this fever to go away so we can get moving." Lucas rolled off of Skye to lay beside him on the floor.
Skye hummed, twisting onto his side, "Me too…. but mostly so you feel better…"
"I'll be okay, honestly… I'll just feel like shit for a day or two. Luckily, these aren't contagious to you guys."
"to be honest that's a relief… but still…."
"Don't worry, Skye…" Lucas looked over at the other, smiling softly. "I've done this before."
Skye sighed, watching him, "You still can't stop me from worrying."
"I-I know, but you shouldn't have to worry about someone like me. Worry about important people."
Skye frowned at that, "But you are important!" he said.
"Why?" Lucas's baby blue eyes met Skye's violet ones, a slightly confused look behind them. "What would make me important?"
"You're my soulmate" he said firmly, his eyes filled with certainty.
"But why does that make me important? I've done nothing but hurt you because of that…" Lucas was vaguely aware of the scars on his arms.
Skye hummed, "Not all of those scars are yours y'know. Besides, I don't care one bit about any of that."
"W-Why not? You've got every right to hate me for it." He blinked tears out of his eyes, but didn't break eye contact with Skye.
"Because I love you…." he said softly, "Always have…."
