"Did you see anyone in the vicinity? We want to make sure we're safe before tending to injuries." Griffin looked around, looking for any signs of motion not provided by their group.

@gracehustle

He shook his head, "We didn't see anyone besides you guys. It wouldn't hurt to check around though." He said, glancing over at Griffin before turning to answer Dierra's question, "I have one on my back, and it's not that bad, it's only a scratch."
She nodded and turned to Cossett, "How about your arm, what happened?"
"The guy with the bow." She said, holding out her arm and uncovering it to show the head of an arrow stuck in her arm. "I got an arrow in my arm." Her voice wobbled slightly but she quickly cleared her throat and continued with a strong voice, "I broke most of it off because it got in the way, but I couldn't get the end out."

Griffin nodded. "I think I can try to get it out. At least one person should take watch. Maybe Felix? And then Dierra could fix Cassian?"

@gracehustle

"Sounds good," Felix said, "Just be ready to move at any time if I spot anyone from the other team." He looked up at the sky and nodded, heading back the way they came to take watch.
Dierra nodded, "We have to be careful though, since there's no medical kit with us at the moment we have to make sure that none of the scratches or anything get infected." She motioned for Cassian to sit on a fallen log a few feet away and he followed her directions, seeming more worried for Cossett than himself.
Cossett glanced at Griffin and blew out a small breath, "I don't know how far it got lodged in, or if it's barbed. It hurts like hell though and if I move the arrowhead it starts to bleed again."

"Okay, um… Should I cut the part sticking out of your back out? or is it best to leave it there for now and focus on cleaning it up? I'm not really the medical type, sorry." Griffin kept his face determined as he bit his lip. I don't want to be responsible for Cosset's death.

@gracehustle

"Maybe cleaning it first, then seeing if you can get it out." She shrugged, "I have no clue about anything when it comes to medical stuff, I'm about as much help as a rotten stick."
Meanwhile Cassian had pulled the back of his shirt up so just his back was showing. Dierra was already hard at work, hoping that not much would have to be done with the injury. "Clean it first." She said, "If you can't get the arrowhead out it might cause more damage than good, so try your best. On that note, is there any water nearby besides that weird looking pond?"

"Yeah, none of us are that good with medical stuff," Griffin marked to Cosset, then turning to Dierra. "I didn't see anything as we came here. Should I scrounge around? If I can't find anything, I might have to use plants, maybe my shirt."

@gracehustle

She glanced over at him, "If you're up for scrounging around that'd be nice, I need some water to clean out Cassian's wound but that's it." She turned back to Cassian, "It just looks like a large scratch. Your shirt took most if the immpact I'm guessing, and since it's just a scratch I think it should be fine without a bandage as long as I clean it."
He nodded and chuckled, "You do whatever you need doc, if Griffin can't do anything with the arrow maybe you should try."

"Oh, shush. I said I wasn't all that good, not that I wouldn't try. I don't want to be the cause of someone's death, that's all." That's why I mourn the boy I killed. He was only trying to defend himself, go with the flow. Otherwise, his teammates would've killed him…

@gracehustle

"Just go find some water if you can." Dierra waved her hand dismissively and focused back on making sure Cassian's cut wasn't too deep. Cossett sat down beside her and held her arm gingerly, just looking down at the arrowhead in her arm.

Griffin nodded and wandered into the woods, keeping in mind where most of his team was. He found a puddle and tore a piece of his shirt, letting it soak up the water. He comes back and starts working on cleaning the dried blood off of Cossett's wound.

@gracehustle

Dierra finished dealing with Cassian and he tugged his shirt back down, looking over at Cossett and silently telling her that she'd be ok. Dierra spun around and watched Griffin work, trying to figure out how to get the arrowhead out.

@gracehustle

(Bump)

(Aaaaah sorry!)

Griffin, upon cleaning the wound, slowly brought out the blood-tipped arrow, careful as to not start any immediate bleeding. "I think you might be lucky. If it had been a bit deeper, there would have been a lot more bleeding."

@gracehustle

(It's fine)
Cossett nodded, "Will my arm be ok? I don't want to have you guys have to take care of me, I want to be able to help." Dierra didn't answer, her eyes scanning their surroundings carefully to make sure that they were still safe.

"Yeah, you should be fine, but don't overwork it." Griffin said in a father-like tone. "If you need help, let us know, and don't try anything that's too big of a project for your arm."

@gracehustle

"Alright," She said, looking over at Cassian and Dierra, "Is there something out there? Do we have to leave?" She asked
Dierra made a motion for her to be quiet for a moment, "Felix hasn't signaled for anything..but I have a sinking feeling that we're being watched."

"Well, someone's always watching us, right? But I'll keep my guard up." Griffin nodded. "As for now, let's stay together as a group. Don't split up. Watch out for one another. That kind of thing."

@gracehustle

"People are always watching us during this competition..but I can tell that there's someone or something out there." She stood up and glanced at Griffin, "Are you done tending to her arm? I think we should keep moving."

"Yeah. Of course." Griffin nodded. "Where to, exactly?"

@gracehustle

"Either back towards the other team if you want to eliminate more contestants before this competition is done, or we could head to the edge of the arena and stay there until the end of this competition and we get to go back." She said, putting a hand on the handle of her dagger.

"Until Cossett's arm is one-hundred percent, then I suggest staying near the edge of the arena." Griffin put a hand on Cossett's back, supporting her. "We don't want any deaths anytime soon because one of us is significantly wounded."

@gracehustle

Cossett nodded and looked at her arm, "Should I wrap it?" She asked, "I don't want it to get infected." She stood up and Cassian did as well, acting very protective of her.

"Yes, you should. We may be using our resources, but we shouldn't risk much when it comes to anyone's health." Griffin's voice was serious as he nodded to her, a soft smile on his face.

@gracehustle

She gave him a soft smile in return before tearing off a long piece of fabric from the bottom of her shirt and doing her best to tie it around her arm.
"Ready to go guys?" Dierra asked, "I'll go find Felix and then we can get moving." She glanced at Griffin before jogging back the way they came and looking for Felix.

I don't like this. Felix didn't come back in some time… The thought crossed Griffin's mind, but the only thing he did was yell to Dierra. "Be careful!" And I love you, but I'll get embarrassed in front of Cossett and Cassian…

@gracehustle

She waved her hand dismissively back at him, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. After she had gotten a little ways away from the others she slowed down, looking up in the trees for any sign of Felix. She looked for a few minutes before frowning, he would've called out to her if he was near, wouldn't he? The thought of him being hurt or killed crossed her mind and she pushed the thought away, hoping for the best as she continued looking.

It's been too long. "If she doesn't come back within a minute, I'm going after her. I swear, if Felix…" Griffin refused to think that Felix might be dead. He was an amazing person. He wouldn't just die, would he?

@gracehustle

Dierra rubbed the back of her neck as she wandered through the woods, looking for Felix. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the one sight she didn't want to see. Felix, laying on the ground with the bow from before gripped in his hand and an arrow sticking out of his chest. Her eyes widened and she took a step back, shaking her head as she tried to get the image of her teammate laying dead out of her head.

She's taking too long. "Okay, I'm going after her, whether any of you like it or not! Follow me if you want, I don't care. I need to know if Dierra's okay." Griffin raced in the direction that Dierra went until he saw the scene. He approached Dierra from her left and he put his hand on her shoulder.
"It's-it's okay." Griffin doubted his words the moment he said them.
