"His bedroom is probably closest." Maddy replied. "Um… Nollie, can you go open the door?" She asked. Nolan nodded and ran off down the hall. "I'll get his feet, you get his head?" She suggested to Jayden. "He doesn't weigh too much, so I don't think we'll have too much trouble."
The Vampire and The Vampire (Closed)
"Sounds good." Jayden nodded before going to lift Taylor's head up, glancing at Maddy before looking at where his bedroom was.
Maddy grabbed Taylor's legs and steered Jayden to Taylor's bedroom. Once they got there,, they carefully set Taylor on the bed. "He hasn't been sleeping much… he says he has, but I know he's lying. I can tell."
"Yea, I've been trying to get him to sleep more but he just keeps saying he's an adult and knows what to do." Jayden sighed after they had set Taylor on the bed.
"He does that…" Maddy sighed as well and sat beside Taylor. "He overworks himself a ton since mom isn't ever around."
"Yea, I want to help him but he won't let me either," Jayden mumbled, also sitting beside Taylor.
Maddy nodded. "He won't let us help either. We've offered, but he always refuses. I want to get him some help, but we don't have much money."
"I probably could, but I don't what I should get to help him." Jayden also nodded, resting her head against the wall.
"I'm not sure, really… I think a counselor or therapist of some kind would help him, but I know he would say he doesn't need it."
"Yea, that sounds good, I'll book him an appointment." Jayden made a mental note to book an appointment for Taylor.
"Do you think he'll go?" She asked, looking up at Jayden.
Jayden looked at Maddy. "I don't know, but if he doesn't, I'm dragging his ass no matter what he does."
Maddy nodded. "Thank you… he won't admit it, but I know he needs it."
"Oh, you're welcome," Jayden replied with a smile before glancing at Taylor. "We should probably leave him now."
"Mhmm." Maddy stood up and left the room quietly with Jayden.
Jayden quietly closed the door and sighed after they had closed it. "You guys can go play now."
They nodded and ran off into the living room to play video games again.
Jayden sat down in a chair somewhere before going on their phone to see if anyone had texted them, looking a bit surprised when someone had texted them before quickly replying.
Taylor slept for a good few hours. Finally, he began to stir, groaning softly as he did so.
Jayden was on their phone since they had taken a nap for a while.
(Sorry it's short)
(No problem)
"Jay…?" Taylor called weakly, forcing himself up into a sitting position despite his body yelling at him to go back to bed.
Jayden heard something from Taylor's room and immediately went over, opening the door and glancing at Taylor. "Seems like you've finally woken up."
"Mm… How did I get here?" He asked, glancing around. "The last thing I remember is making breakfast…"
"You fell asleep and Maddy and Nolan helped me move you to your room," Jayden answered. "Do you feel awake now?"
"I think I'm awake, yeah… I don't remember falling asleep, though." Taylor got up out of bed and stretched.
"It's fine, make sure to get some rest," Jayden replied, running a hand through their hair.
"I just did… how long have I been out?" He asked, smoothing down his clothes as he spoke.
"Not long," Jayden answered reassuringly. "And I meant, actually sleep when you're supposed to."
"I try, I just… can't. My body won't sleep and my brain won't shut up." Taylor sighed softly.
