"About the world blowing up?" Jayden asked, a small smile on their face.
The Vampire and The Vampire (Closed)
"Yes! Fuckin'… where are all the damn phones?" Taylor lifted up the rug, still searching.
Jayden chuckled, taking out their phone. "I don't know where your phone went, but mine's here. Also, I was kidding, the world isn't going to blow up."
"But this is important…" Taylor whined, reaching for the phone. He was legitimately distressed about the world theoretically exploding.
Jayden held their hand up, looking a bit confused. "What is?"
"The world's gonna explode! W-Why are you so calm?!" Taylor started breathing faster. "We gotta call the president; maybe he can help!"
Jayden chuckled, gently taking Taylor's hands. "Taylor, the world isn't going to explode, trust me."
"B-But what if it does?" Taylor said quietly, blinking away tears. "I don't wanna explode…"
"Even if the world explodes, we won't die and I'll be there with you," Jayden said, gently squeezing his hands.
"I don't wanna explode…" Taylor whispered again, wide eyed with fear as he watched Jayden closely.
"You're not going to," Jayden whispered back, offering a small smile as they looked at Taylor.
Taylor whimpered quietly, his hands trembling in Jayden's grasp. He didn't seem very reassured.
Jayden suddenly hugged him, resting their head on his shoulder. "If the world was going to explode, we wouldn't be here. We would probably be underground or somewhere safe along with your siblings."
"But our… b-but our bunker would blow up too…" Taylor bit his lip, honestly close to tears.
"Then we can leave Earth's orbit and go live on another planet," Jayden suggested, looking a bit worried.
"But I only have seven dollars in my waaaaalletttt…" Taylor whined, hugging Jayden tightly.
Jayden couldn't help but chuckle softly. "I'll take care of the money."
"Mmm… how much do spaceships cost? I know it's more than seven dollars…".Taylor kept clinging to Jayden.
"I don't know, I'll check it later," Jayden mumbled, also clinging to Taylor.
"Okay…" Taylor hiccuped a bit, closing his eyes. He was starting to drift off by this point.
"Time for you to go to bed," Jayden replied, looking around for a clock.
"Noooo… fuckin'… I'm an adult, I go to bed when I wa-" Taylor yawned. "-when I want…"
"And that is now," Jayden replied, getting up and trying to drag Taylor to his room.
Taylor continued whining, but didn't really care enough to stop Jayden. "I'm an aduuuult…"
"You can tell me about that in the morning," Jayden replied, successfully somewhat dragging him to his room.
"Mmmm…" Taylor flopped down on the bed tiredly, closing his eyes but not falling asleep just yet.
"Okay, I'm going to my room now." Jayden left after Taylor had gotten onto the bed, heading towards their room.
"Noooo come back…" Taylor whined, laying down on his back.
"Whatttt…" Jayden whined, their head appearing from behind the door.
"C'mere…" Taylor sat up a bit.
