"Wait, I didn't mean now." Harlow whispered yelled, but it was too late Val was gone. No way this is happening now, my heart isn't prepared. And it didn't help that Harlow couldn't cook, well maybe simple things. Harlow's face was already turning red. What was Zyl going to think when she confesses.
The wolf in a red hood (romance one on one)
After a few minutes, zyl came into the room with a dish of mashed potatoes and another with Mac and cheese "alright, fair warning, I didn't make anything. And Val thinks there's a million people coming so there's a heck ton of food." Zyl laughed and glanced up at Harlow "you ok? You're the color of a tomato." He asked, slight concern along with lightheartedness in his voice
"Mhm," She quickly looked away and covered her face. Am I really that red? "So, uh, are there anymore people coming, or is your sister getting out of hand. Just then a knock came at the door. Harlow was just joking, but if people were really coming she needed to get rid of this blush. Who could that be?
He glanced towards the door at the knock "they're weren't supposed to be…." He walked to the door that pranced off of the living room and sighed softly at seeing the person through the screen door
(Am I right to assume it's Macy? Or just come up with a randome character?)
(Its definitely Macy, haha.)
"Hi," Macy gave an innocent wave. "I smelt something nice and thought I would drop by." Harlow heard the voice an knew immediately who it was. And she was not going to let this girl ruin her date. Walking out with a smile Harlow moved towards the door and stood next to Zyl. "Macy, what a surprise. Sorry but this is a private dinner." Mact growled but Harlow stood her ground. "Listen, human. You can't and won't ever be allowed to be with Zyl. So go and meet some human boy." Harlow wished she had never met this girl. "No, you listen. I've known Zyl way longer than you and I know you aren't his type." Harlow gave her a sweet fake smile. "So bye." Then slammed the door. "She pisses me off! You already rejected her, she should just give up." Harlow crossed her arms and pouted.
(yeah you go, Harlow! show that girl! )
Zyl just stood there in utter shock and astonishment as the two girls in front of him duked it out. After Harlow had shut the door and ranted a bit, zyl grinned and crossed his arms around his chest and leaned against the wall "And how do you know my type, hm?" He asked with atilt of his head. Sighing softly and straightening, he walked closer to her until they were only a few inches apart. To Zyl, those inches felt like miles "And what would be my type then?"
"N-not her that's for sure." Harlow had to turn her face away. Too close, way too close. "I mean, I see you with a sweet girl, but is also strong, um," Harlow lost her train of thought and couldn't think of much else. "You know what, our dinner is going to get cold. We should head back." She laughed awkwardly. She started to move away when Val crept into her mind. "Tell him how you feel, it'll get it off your chest. I'll pretend to leave for something urgent and give you two the time you need alone." Harlow lightly shook her head. Sorry Val, it's just impossible right now. "Just not Macy." Harlow whispered and walked off to the dinning room.
Zyl breathed in a long sigh "so you," he whispered before heading to the kitchen a few minutes after Harlow. He helped Val with the rest of the food.
"So who was at the door? val asked
"Macy, coming by to say hi," Zyl muttered, sitting down but not eating, just staring at the ground.
"Zyl, what's wrong…?" Val asked, glancing up at Harlow with a questioning look
Harlow felt so guilty that she had to look away from Val. It was the perfect time to tell him how she felt, yet she chickened out. Val even left her alone to do it. Harlow looked at her plate of food and just played with it. Then looked to Val and whispered "I'm sorry." Taking a side glance she looked over at Zyl. She wanted so badly to tell him, but she was still scared.
"It's okay," she mouthed back, glancing up at her brother with a worried look "Zyl you okay?" Val asked softly.
Zyl stood silently and headed out the door "excuse me, ladies. I need to breathe." he said as he left. He shifted and walked around the lake to try and calm down
Harlow buried her face in her hands. "I'm an idiot." She sighed. Zyl was her bestfriend, maybe she was worried about ruining that, and if they ever broke up, they would probably never be the same. "Val, I'll be back." Harlow quickly stood and ran out the door. If she was going to do it, it had to be now. "Zyl!" She screamed, she knew he would hear her, but she ran off towards the lake.
Zyl skirted around the lake, heading towards the rocks that were on the other side of the lake. He maneuvered up to the top of the rocks and flopped down, letting the coolness of the lake calm him down. You idiot, she doesn't love you. She wants a normal life without your craziness. He growled aside the thought and flipped over on his back, flicking his ear as he heard a distant call
"Zyl!" Heavy breathing came from Harlow as she slowed down. "I looked all over this place, where is he?" Sitting down, she took a rest in a grass patch and took off her shoes. The water was cold but it felt nice on her warm skin. Then she laid down and closed her eyes. "He'll come looking at some point." Slowly she began to fall asleep. It was too comfortable not to.
Macy had been in the shadows watching for a while. She had to make sure Harlow was asleep before actually taking action. She brought along one of her friends to help her out. "Come on she whispered." The guy followed after Macy and gently pick Harlow up. "We need to get to the highest point. In the distance was a cliff that was perfect. It was a bit of a walk, but Macy wanted nothing but the best. Her friend had questions but he knew better then to ask. Once they climb to the top, Macy stood there as if she just won. "Bye, bye Harlow." Jax, Macy's friend threw her off the cliff and towards the water. As soon as she felt weightless Harlow woke up and realized she was falling, but it was too late to do anything. "Hel!" Was all she could get out before she was surrounded by water. When she hit the water, it knock the breath out of her and she passed out.
Zyl jumped up at the sound of a familiar yelp and ran around the cliff, He glanced down at the sight of Macy and another man. He growled lowly as he smelled Harlow everywhere but didn't see her. He shifted into his other form "what did you do to her," he growled, stalking up to the two and backing them to the edge of the cliff

(I wanna hit Macy so badd)
"Nothing in particular. She looked hot, so I was just helping." Macy growled and pushed Zyl out of the way and ran, Jax followed after her. "It will be too late if you come running after me." Macy laughed and disappeared into the forest.
Harlow was now in pitch darkness. What happened? Where am I? If she wasn't under water, tears would be falling down her face. Zyl? The only regret she has now is not telling him her feelings.
(hey Elliot! Thanks for stalkingq! Let me know if you want to do anything similar)
Zyl snarled a response and made his way down to the lake where he assumed Harlow was. He glanced up as Val came running up "what happened? I heard a yell and…where's Harlow? I smell her…and Macy….zyl?"
Zylfer shifted, eyes filled with angerand worry "bring Macy back here." He said over his shoulder
Val nodded, knowing her brother was far beyond reasoning "and the other male?"
"Leave him. He still has a chance to redeem himself."
Val nodded and shifted into her wolf form. She and zyl had very similar coloring but where Zyl had black marks, Val's were white.
After Val had gone off to track Macy, zyl scanned the area for anymore threats before pulling off his shirt and plunging into the dark Waters in search of Harlow

(Hi! And you're welcome! This is a cool concept so I had to follow lol, and if I want to I will!)
(glad you think so! XD)
(So I'm not sure what to write. Can I just assume he got her out of the water?)
(Yeah, want me to continue on?)
(Yes please, it might make it easier for me to respond.)
(Oki)
Zyl dragged himself along with Harlow out of the water. Once on land he checked to see if she was breathing. "Damn….." He growled under his breath and scooped her up in his arms, holding her close to his chest protectively.
He made his way to the house and up to the second floor where his bedroom and a guest room were. Deciding it better to put her in the guest bedroom, he layed her down on her side and started to run her back, hoping to get as much water out of her system as possible
It took a few seconds but soon enough Harlow began coughing up the water. Slowly she opened her eyes and was a bit confused. Wasn't I under water? Looking around she saw Zyl and smiled. "I guess whatever happened teaches me not to sleep outside alone." She laughed weakly. Don't cry. You're an adult. Sitting up she rubbed her head. "So, uh, do you mind telling me what happened?" Tears formed in her eyes but Harlow still refused to let them fall.
Zyl sighed in relief and couldn't help but smile at her attempt at humor. Good to see you're still bad at making jokes. He sat on the edge of the bed "well, you apparently went out and got jumped by Macy and a friend of hers. They threw you in the lake." He glanced away and sighed "but you're safe now. Just get some rest and you'll be better in the morning." Stay with her, make sure she's safe. He stood up and headed to the door "I'll be just across the hall if you need anything. Don't worry about waking me."
"Wait," Harlow grabbed his arm. "Take me to Macy." Harlow was not going to let Macy just get away with this. It didn't matter if she was human or not, if she didn't start standing up for herself things like this will keep happening because she is around Zyl. We can't be together if I'm this weak. "Bring her friend as well." She stood and looked Zyl straight in the eye. I want to be woth you, but I need to get stronger. She didn't have the confidence to say that out loud yet.
"I already sent Val after her. She should be back within the hour. You're not going near her though. She's dangerous." He gently eased her back down on the bed "I'll deal with her. You need to stay here and rest. I promise to tell you everything in the morning."
Harlow pouted a bit, but as Zyl pushed her down she grabbed his collar and pulled him along. She wrapped her arms around him a nd pulled him into a hug. "Thank you." But, I'm definitely giving her a piece of my mind. "Can you stay in here, just until I fall asleep. Please." She smiled sweetly, knowing he most likely will.
(he has no shirt on, he pulled it off before he went in the lake)
Zyl braces himself against the bed and breathed in her scent "you're welcome." He wispered, gently wrapping her arms around her and holding her. Just this once, give into your desires. He settled beside her, trying his best to give her the space she needed. "I'll stay as long as you need me."
(Oh yeah, my bad. Just say she pulled him down by the arm then, haha.)
Harlow laid down, sighing. This was nice, although she was wet, she felt comfortable and safe. "Zyl, I love you." Harlow said as she started to fall asleep, that was until she realized what she said and immediately woke back up. "I-I need water." She stood and walked out the door, shutting it behind her. What did I say? Sliding against the door she hid her face in her knees. What the hell did I just say?!
