(I was thinking of making zyl 9 years old?)

@Fantasy-Illy!

(So Harlow would be 6. That works perfectly because that the age I wanted. Want me to start?)

@Fenrir

(okay perfect! And sure)

"Harlow, please be careful. Come back before the sunsets." Harlow rolled her eye, her mom has always been over protective. And since they just moved here, it was even worse. Harlow loved this place. It was a smaller town, and they got a house close to the forest. Unlike in the big city where you couldn't leave your without the fear of being kidnapped. "I know mom." With that Harlow was off. The smell of pine trees filled the air, and the crunchy ground made her footsteps seem heavy. Her favorite was the flowers though. Blues and yellows, it was amazing. Once her house was out of sight she took shade underneath a tree and pulled out her journal.

"now zyl, remember what you've learned. Make yourself invisible to your prey. They can't know you're their until it's too late for them to escape. His father gently reminded the young pup. Zylfer nodded, his eyes wide in excitement as he took note of everything his dad said.as a pup, zyl was thin and lanky, his muscle structure small because of his age. His fur was all black, the shades of red and grey only showing in his tail for now. His eyes were still that puppy blue, though they were slowly gaining their Amber gold flecks.
"I'm going to be around to observe you're hunting but I'm not going to help." His father said with a proud smile. Zyl nodded and flicked his ears up as he heard his mother coming "mamma are you gonna watch too?" Zyl excitedly, shifting so he could hug his mother. Kira nodded and settled next to her mate after hugging her son

Harlow stopped when she heard a bit of rustling in the distance, not wanting to freak herself, Harlow convinced herself that it was just a bunny. Dear journal, today I moved into my new home. There's a forest in which I already love. It gives off a calming vibe, and smell nice as well. Again that sound came and it made Harlow shut her book and jump to her feet. If there was something more than rabbit out there, she didn't want to be here to see it. Mother did say to be careful. Slowly and quietly she started to walk back home, holding her journal close to her chest. I can hear the news now. Six year old girl, attacked by wolves, were not sure if she'll make it. That's something in the city she didn't really have to worry about. But humans were scarier than wolves, or at least Harlow thought so.

@Fenrir

Zyl followed the girl, making sure to stay within the trees shadows so as to not be seen.was this something he could huntThe girl was much larger than he was. Is he didn't have the urge to hint her as he did with other prey. Curious as to where she was going, zyl followed the girl for a few minutes, wondering where she had come from or where she was goimg

Harlow was horrible with directions and this her first time being in the forest, she got turned around. "Which way was it?" Her back long hair in pigtails, they bounced as she walked. Slowly but surely she began to run, confused and lost, tears streamed down her face as she sobbed. "Mama!" What made her more upset is that her mom had warned her. Just then she heard a growl in the bushes behind her. Turning she saw golden eyes as a big gray wolf stared her down. Her heart sunk, she knew this was it. Just then it started to shirt into a person. He was tall with brown eyes and a wicked grin on his face. As if the wolf wasn't bad enough, now she had to deal with both in one body. "You're a cute little girl." He crouched down and grabbed her arm. "I'm not sure whether to kill and eat you or take you back with me." Harlow's whole body was shaking, tears still rolling down her face. "Let go on me!" When he didn't she just started screaming hoping someone would hear.

@Fenrir

Zyl fastened his pace, worry and adrenaline kicking in as he heard the girl screen. He might've been young but he knew he hated those who took advantage of others. He sprinted fowards into the clearing where another male and the young girl were. He growled and advanced towards the older male, not caring if he was a puppy or that the other was much larger and older. He snapped his jaws close to the males hand and growled

@Fantasy-Illy!

The man loosened his grip and Harlow saw it as a chance. She pulled and started to run, even if she didn't know where she was going. She regretted coming out later in the day, because the sun was close to setting. Keep running. Her mind went blank and her legs took the lead. Before she knew it she was in a cave that didn't go too deep. "I'll ready here." Her breath was short and she rounded a small corner and sat down. "I wanna go home." Covering her ears and closing her eyes she tried to make everything go away but she knew she couldn't. She laid down, then realized she had dropped her journal out there somewhere.

@Fenrir

Zyl glared daggers at the male and talked to him through the mind "you dare touch another like that again and I'll hunt you down, got it?" He turned and snatched the book before running off to find the girl. He followed her cent until nightfall. He wimpered softly and placed in another clearing.he trotted around before spotting a cave entrance. Glancing at the sky he sighed softly and took shelter.

Harlow was tired and wanted to sleep, but her mind kept racing and wouldn't let her. She was terrified and wanted nothing more then to go home. It was now dark and there was no way she could try to find her way home. And that man was probably still out there. The way he looked at her was awful, not even in the city was she looked at like that. "This place is way scarier than the city. A-A wolf turned into a man. How I'd that possible?" Wolves eyes were terrifying, and she never wanted to see a pair of them ever again.

@Fenrir

Zyl made his way towards the back of the cave, smelling the girl everywhere. He wimpered softly and walked around. He found her curled up on the ground. He sat down a few feet away, not wanting to scare her and barked quietly before dropping the Journal

@Fantasy-Illy!

Harlow immediately jumped up when she heard a bark. "Stay away." *Was this wolf a human too? Slowly she stood and headed for the entrance of the cave. She rather walk in the dark than be trapped in a cave with a wolf, it didn't matter if it was small or not. Just then she saw her journal on the ground. Getting on her hands and knees she slowly crawled over while watching the wolf but not keeping eye contact.

@Fenrir

He shifted into his normal form "I'm not going to hurt you. Noal of us are bad. Did hurt you?" Zylfer asked, his eyes flickering with concern "I'm zylfer, but most call me Zyl. What's your name?"

@Fantasy-Illy!

Harlow whimpered a little and backed away. She hid her wrist behind her back. He's just a kid no need to be worried. He didn't seem much older than her, but still he was a werewolf. "I'm f-fine." With her none hurt hair, she grabbed her journal and sat against the wall. It would be dumb of her to go out there in the dark when she knew werewolves were out there as well. "Harlow, my name is Harlow." Her eyes met his. There were a lot kinder than the mand from earlier.

@Fenrir

Zylfer smiled and nodded "nice to meet you Harlow. You're new here, arencha? Haven't seen you around and your smell is new." He glanced at the hand behind her back "he hurt you?"

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Yeah, I just moved here." She saw him look toward her back and she hid her hand more. "No, I'm fine." She said again, even though it was a lie. "Why did you follow me?" Weren't werewolves supposed to hunt humans down? Harlow didn't know much about them. Also, did this mean vampires and things like that are real? It would only make sense.

@Fenrir

He frowned slightly "you're a bad liar. I followed you here to make sure something worse didn't. And because you were heading the wrong way from the path so I wanted to make sure you were safe." He walked closer and sat a few feet away from her "I'm not here to hurt you if that's what you think."

@Fantasy-Illy!

"And how am I supposed to trust you?" Harlow wasn't dumb, she didn't trust easily. Even so she moved a bit closer. He seemed nice and he was the only company she had right. Finally she moved her hand around and set it in her lap. There was a hand mark the was blue and purple. Her pigtails were a mess and she had tear stains on her face.

@Fenrir

"time. My parents always said that trust isn't given by a word or promise. It's given by time. All I ask is for you to trust me over time. It's okay if you don't trust me now or in a few days, or heck, in a few years. I'll show you that I can be trusted." He glanced at the bruise on her arm and sighed softly. Shifting, he slowly made his way towards her and sat down, nudging the bruise with his nose

@Fantasy-Illy!

Harlow wasn't expecting him to touch her, and instinctively pulled her arm away. Time huh? He sounds like we'll meet again. "How old are you?" She tried to change the subject. Even though she tried her best, her head started bobbing. Crying always made her tired. Although her mom wasn't here to cuddle her and sing her a song.

@Fenrir

He pulled his head away and shifted again, still staying close. "I'm 9."How old are you?" he asked with a small tilt of his head. "you need to get some sleep."

@Fantasy-Illy!

"I'm six." Her eyes finally closed and her body fell over, slightly hitting her on the cave floor. She curled into a ball and shivered. It was spring, so nights still are a bit chilly. "Mama," a small sob escaped her lips as one more tear fell down her cheeks.
(Sorry it's short.)

@Fenrir

(It's okay!)
zyl sighed softly and shifted. He nuzzled under her neck so it wasn't on the hard cave floor and curled his body around hers to provide warmth. His parents would always do this to keep him and his sister between them while the circled around them and snuggled close.

@Fantasy-Illy!

When Harlow was waking up, she felt the warm sun on her face, and something soft. "Hm.. so soft and fluffy." She sat up and saw Zylfer curled around her. It still felt weird for her, but at least he didn't eat her. She said back down and hugged him tightly. Maybe he's not as bad as I thought. For technically being a dog, he smelt really nice. Like the pine trees mixed with fresh green grass, it was nice.

@Fenrir

Zylfer yawned and stretched in the girls, Harlow's, arms. He nuzzled her shoulder gently and whimpered softly,glad that she was okay and well rested. He curled up around her closer and snuggled up

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Harlow!" A voice came from a distance a d Harlow recognized it as her dad's voice. Harlow shot up. Have they been looking for me all night? "Dad!" She gently pushed Zyl off of her. Grabbing her journal she looked to Zly. "Can you shift really quick?" If her parents saw she was with a wolf, they would freak out.

@Fenrir

Zylfer nodded and shifted back into his normal form. "I'll leave through a side exit. My parents are probably looking for me too.eave as soon as possible from the forests. My parents aren't to keen on having Humans around. I'll try to convince them you're good people and maybe they'll let you visit." He said with hopefulness before waving to Harlow and slipping away through the back exit of the cave

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Harlow, dear." As soon as Zyl left, Harlow ran to her dad, he wrapped his arms around her tightly, but not too tight. Once again she started to cry. He lifted her up and started to walk back home. As soon as she got home her mother made a big deal out of everything. That's when it started, the over protectiveness. (Sorry it's short.)
