  Makarios

Makarios's eyes widened, but only slightly, at the sight of the blood. "I'm, uh, Makarios," he replied slowly. "Does that normally happen?" he dared to ask, mildly (or very) concerned. Maybe he shouldn't have inquired, and he regretted the words as soon as they slipped from his lips, but it was impossible for him to overlook– although he had seen plenty of strange things in his time.

“Not often, but it happens. It’s normal so don’t worry, it’s not good for your health after all” He suggested as he turned towards the city inside. Kaito then looked around him, taking a mental note of how each individual roughly looked like.
“So, ice breaking I guess, what’re your powers?” He asked.

  Makarios

"Uhm, nothing impressive." Makarios hesitated. "They told me it was gravitational manipulation– so basically telekinesis I guess. I can throw stuff around with my mind," he responded, trying to make it sound as unthreatening as possible– but all he could think about was how he tore a man apart– literally– with his ability. He cleared his throat (and his mind), glancing at the girl and guy who were talking just a few feet away. "What about you?" he asked, returning his attention to Kaito.

“I can consume other people’s negativity, by that I mean feelings like stress, doubt, fear, and all that… though at the end of the day I would go into a food coma or something along those lines” he giggled at the end of the sentence.
He turned to the two figures who were a small distance away from him.
“Wanna go talk to them?” He jerked his thumb towards them.

"I'm Mikeal," he said slipping his hands into his pockets and giving her a smile back. He wasn't one to judge people on their appearance, especially after what they had just gone through, so he hardly noticed her hair. "Seems like they chose the roughest pieces of rope they could find to tie us up with."
The joke was a lame attempt to break the ice and he cursed himself mentally after saying it.

“Yeah, they weren’t very comfortable,” Lindsay agreed, not mentioning that she could somewhat read his thoughts. Her headache was beginning to ease a bit, and the more Mikeal talked to her out loud, the easier his thoughts were to pick out from the others. Lindsay tried not to focus too hard, as that only caused her pain to be worse. “Though I can’t say that I would find my hands being tied comfortable even if it was with silk. Anyway, at least we’re out of that vehicle now.” Her optimism was slowly beginning to come back into force now, since things didn’t seem quite so bleak. Of course, Lindsay figured the vehicle was probably the least of their worries.

Mya glared at the officers as she filed out of the vehicle, but not at their faces. She wasn't brave enough to face them head on yet, but she was mad at them. And she worried about her older brother, Hikaru. He suffered from anxiety, and was on meds, but still he constantly worried about her own safety. How would he react when he found out she had been taken? Her mother, father? She didn't worry about them, they would be fine without her. She was out so often, they had learned to suppress their worries and bottle them up. And on top of that, she missed her brother. He was the one she leaned on the most, who she confided in the most. The one she trusted the most. Her hair dangled in front of her face as she lowered her head, not willing to talk to anyone at the moment. She just wanted a moment to herself, so she could accept her fate. She noticed the others making small talk, but right now? She just couldn't handle the social interaction.

(Oof, I was the last one to reply, and so, I'm not really sure what to do.)

Makarios listened intently. "Wow, that's actually… amazing. Not the coma part, just your powers in general. Impressive. " His gaze averted to the others. "Sure, why not?"
He warily approached them, expression blank, but his silvery-blue eyes glistening with genuine kindness– and a distant sadness that lingered.

"Yeah, that bus-thing smelt like the underside of a carpet," Mikeal said, tilting his head slightly. "Why are you here, anyways? What is your power?"

@MusicElle-is-here

Lindsay smiled to herself, though there wasn’t much humor in the expression. “I can, sort of, read minds,” she admitted, almost sheepish. Part of her thrilled at it, but another part of her felt too much like a voyeur. “What about you?”

"Uh….strings? It's kind of hard to explain," he said, glancing down at the ropes at his feet. "It'll be easier to show you."

Once again, his mind went into a higher gear as the twine began to lift itself into the air, twisting and spinning like a little Chinese dragon.

@MusicElle-is-here

Lindsay watched with genuine interest, her eyes following the rope for a moment before darting back to Mikeal. “Can you do that with anything?” she asked curiously.

(are Makarios and Kaito going over to Lindsay and Mikeal or to Mya and Ravenna?)

He shook his head and the string dropped to the ground.
"No, just, like, string," Mikeal said sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck. "Lame, I know."

(Lindsay and Mikeal)

“That’s definitely not lame! At least you don’t have to hear practically every thought around you—it’s why I have a bit of a headache right now, actually,” Lindsay confessed, starting when she realized there were two boys approaching them. She glanced at them, her dark eyes glittering with interest. “I’m assuming they want to talk to us,” she said quietly to Mikeal before turning to face the other boys. “Hi.”

@Moriarty
  Makarios

"Hello," Makarios responded slowly, his gaze switching back and forth between the two of them. He felt awkward, but he didn't show it. "Apologies for interrupting your conversation." He broke eye contact, glancing around the "city" again. He cleared his throat, turning back towards them. "My name is Makarios."

@MusicElle-is-here

Lindsay smiled at him, well, as close to a smile as she could really get with the odd presence of the “city” around them and the ordeal they had all gone through. But her usual cheer was slowly coming back. “I’m Lindsay.”

“Kaito” the man who came behind Makarios spoke out plainly and dryly. He was more intrigued about the whole ‘city’ feature and it had to offer him. The guards did mention bars and restaurants being free and all that.
I’m gonna get hella wasted here… he thought with a small smirk.

How can they be so calm throughout this whole ordeal?, Mya thought. She couldn't understand. Burying her face in her hands, she took deep breaths in an attempt to calm herself down. You can do this Mya, she told herself. A little while later, she finally felt comfortable enough to look up at the others. She knew that if she tried to strike up a conversation with anyone, her voice would tremble too much, and she didn't want to leave a bad impression on the others. So she started talking to herself, out loud, trying to talk the tremble out of her voice. Or more specifically, the anxiety out of her voice.

  Makarios

"It's nice to meet you, Lindsay," Makarios responded, offering the most convincing smile he could muster– which looked pretty authentic, despite everything. He glanced at theother guy (Mikeal). "And you, as well."
He swallowed hard. Why did he bother with small talk? To convince himself that this wasn't as bad as it actually was? To ease the inevitable pressure that would surely tear him apart?

@MusicElle-is-here

Lindsay almost responded to Makarios’s thoughts instead of his actual reply. She nodded, brushing a stray hair behind her ear. “Nice to meet you, too,” she said, wondering herself why they were bothering with small talk. She supposed, for her at least, it helped lessen the terror she was feeling. “So, what exactly are we supposed to be doing now that we’re here?” She glanced around at the ‘city’ with apprehension.

  Makarios

Makarios shrugged. "Looking around, I guess." He scanned the area. Man, I'm gonna be living here for the rest of my life. Dear gosh, this sucks. He bit the interior of his lip. "I don't really know what else there would be for us to do." Break out of here, maybe? he joked with himself, although it didn't really lighten his mood.

@MusicElle-is-here

Lindsay tried not to focus on Makarios's thoughts, as she knew they would only upset her. It wasn't as if she could just plug her brain…or maybe she could, but she just didn't realize it yet. "Maybe there's something?" she asked, though even as she said it she doubted it, and she was sure the others could tell in her voice. At least there weren't any other mind readers in the group, or at that's what Lindsay hoped, because she was freaking out. "So why are you here, if I might ask? That is, what can you do?"

@Moriarty
  Makarios

Kill people.
"Uhm, I guess I'm… telekinetic, or something," Makarios responded slowly. "I can manipulate the gravitational pull on things, so… yeah. Telekinesis." He swallowed hard, pushing back the memories that dared to taunt him, to tell him that he wasn't a telekinetic, he was a monster. "What– what about you?" he finally managed.

@MusicElle-is-here

Well this is about to be awkward… Lindsay predicted, wishing that Makarios hadn't thought that immediately after she'd asked what he did. She tried not to look as if Makarios had thought anything shocking. "I read minds," she admitted, biting her lip and glancing away. Please don't think about any other secrets right now, she pleaded to him inwardly, hoping she hadn't actually sent that thought to him. Not that she had done it before, but she didn't rule it out. She crossed her fingers that she hadn't sent that thought to Makarios.

Mya had just been silently listening to the others' conversations while trying to make sense of everything. She flinched slightly when she heard the words, "I read minds." A mind reader? She took a deep breath, getting anxious again. No, not anxious. Paranoid, maybe? She shut her eyes, not able to think properly anymore. Calm down! You're getting anxious over nothing! she told herself. But another part of her protested, Yeah right. A freaking mind reader is in our midst, and you're calling that nothing?? Mya sighed. Maybe it was just nothing, but still. It couldn't hurt to stay on the cautious side.

Makarios's eyes widened. "Read minds?" he asked. Had she seen his previous thoughts? How deep could she go into his mind? Did she know everything about him, his inner world? His face paled slightly, because he'd never felt so… exposed, mentally or emotionally. He tried to play it off. "Um… that's… that's really cool, actually. " Awkwardly, he cleared his throat.
