  Mikeal

"What can you do?" Mikeal spoke up, talking to the guy for the first time. He wasn't much for talking to strangers, so this was an anomaly.

@Moriarty
  Makarios

"Oh, uh, tele–" Makarios started to speak, but was still shaken up from the mind reading. He choked on his own words. "Telekinesis. Kinda." He didn't feel like explaining the details of it. He felt like every wrongdoing and every secret he ever had was suddenly in display– even though it really wasn't. He swallowed hard, trying to recompose himself. Calm down. You're not a criminal, Makarios. You're a good man. You really are. Everything is fine. Everything is absolutely fine.
But he didn't believe it.

@MusicElle-is-here

Lindsay gave Makarios an awkward smile. Great, it was totally awkward. At least he hadn't seemed to have received her panicked thoughts, thank god. "So, um, how about we switch topics?" she asked, clearly uncomfortable but trying to hide it. Yikes. Not only was Makarios panicking, but so was one of the other girls and Lindsay didn't want to make her feel any worse than she clearly did.

Kaito

Katio had stood in silence, watching everything unravel. Yep, a person whose mind is crippled by the past is talking with a mind reader, it’s not surprising that the conversation had turned awkward.
The black haired man didn’t have this kind of problem as his abilities really only hurt himself and not others as much. Though it did freak some people out, which is why he ended up here.
The man smiled to himself a bit…
Cough Cough
Some blood splattered out from his mouth as he tried his best to cover it up though it was probably too late as some of it had stained the people standing close to him; namely Lindsay, Makarios, and Mikeal.

@MusicElle-is-here

Lindsay glanced over at Kaito, trying not to freak out at the blood—it was blood, wasn’t it?—coming from his mouth. She took a small, unconscious step backward. “Umm, are you okay?” she asked, her brows furrowing in concern. He definitely didn’t seem okay…and to be honest, he sort of freaked her out.

“Hmm?” Kaito, who had his hand covering his mouth, looked up and gave a small nod.
“It’s only normal this happens…” he added with a mumbled tone. The character on his left cheek which looked almost like a tattoo glowed a bit when the blood came out. It had surprised him though…
Great, at least I didn’t faint this time otherwise I’m gonna be a bloody mess and a criminal lookalike he thought to himself.

  Makarios

Makarios was beginning to question his choices– namely the choice to make conversation with people. One of them can sort through everything I've ever done, probably loathes me already, the other is spitting blood every where. At least the other one– Mikeal or something, right?– hadn't done anything too strange yet. Although Makarios didn't get his hopes up.

@MusicElle-is-here

Lindsay felt her face warm a bit at his thoughts. She didn't loathe him, though if she was honest she was a bit scared. Being a mind reader was definitely more curse than blessing, as it was clear she was making most of them uncomfortable. "So, how old are you guys?" she asked, desperate to change the topic and hopefully guide the others towards something she wouldn't feel like a voyeur for overhearing their thoughts.

@Moriarty
  Makarios

"Just turned nineteen," Makarios responded, his tone almost blank; he had to will it to be that way, considering the turmoil he was facing inside his own mind. Yep. Nineteen. A nineteen-year-old whose life is completely trashed– and for what? He wish he had the choice to trade his powers for a normal life. He'd gladly exchange being able to throw stuff around with his mind for peace and friends again– but he knew that wouldn't happen. He was stuck with this– this– this curse. He hated it almost as much as he hated himself.

@MusicElle-is-here

"I'm seventeen," Lindsay added, trying not to listen to Makarios's thoughts. She wished she could turn her ability off. Wouldn't that be nice? She managed to keep her expression under check, but she still was reeling from the cloud of thoughts. Ever since her ability had begun to manifest she had avoided crowds as often as possible, though that was extremely difficult considering school. At first it wasn't as bad, but she began to have worsening headaches every day.

Kaito

“Turned nineteen a while back” Kaito claimed with his hands in his pockets. Apparently the black haired man wasn’t so fond with social interaction, at least not at the very moment. There had been an awkward silence after the man spoke up… he broke it.
“Well, if you all will excuse me, I’m gonna go find a bar somewhere and just get wasted… it’s getting late after all” he had his right hand out of his pocket which he used to do a small wave before he paced towards the city features.

God, so there was a telekinest, (that was what they were called, right?) a mindreader, and… someone who coughs up blood? And then there they were, claiming that it was normal. How is coughing up blood ever normal? Mya couldn't quite wrap her head around anything anymore. This was all so confusing, and she couldn't keep her mind and train of thought to stray backwards in time to "I read minds."

@MusicElle-is-here

Lindsay turned to the girl who kept thinking about her for a moment. “I’ll be right back,” she told the boys she had been talking to before walking over. “Hi, I’m Lindsay, and yes I read minds. What’s your name?” She was trying to help this girl become more accustomed to her.

@Moriarty
  Makarios

Makarios stood there for a moment, chewing his lip awkwardly as he shifted to weight from one foot to the other. He couldn't stay here. No. He needed to find a way out. There was no way he was going to settle for living here, surrounded by all of these strangers.

Mya averted her eyes. Of course, she'd heard her thinking about her. She was a freaking mindreader. How could she possibly be so dumb? "I'm Mya, m-y-a," she whispered softly.

@MusicElle-is-here

“Nice to meet you, Mya!” Lindsay replied. “Sorry if I startled you. I’ve found the phrase ‘mind reader’ makes for a weird first impression. So, if I may ask, what’s your ability?”

Startled? Lindsay had certainly done more than startle her, but scare her wasn't the right term. Oh well, now wasn't the time to dwell on such small things. "I… I fly," Mya replied, in the same quiet tone as earlier. She, herself could still detect a slight shudder in her tone, and took a deep breath, trying to calm down, though she couldn't bring herself to rid herself of the knot in her stomach that had formed while she was standing there, trying to make sense of things.

(Aw, that's too bad. I understand though, have a good rest of the day! (BEcause I'm at school rn and might not be able to get on for a while.)

@MusicElle-is-here

(aww okay)

“You fly?” Lindsay asked excitedly, ignoring Mya’s thoughts. “That’s so cool!” She blushed slightly, embarrassed at her outburst. “What’s it like? If it’s okay to ask, I mean.”

(I might have too as well. I’m very sorry but there’s just too much going on with school activities right now)

(Aww okay, I'll miss you! Honestly, it would've been great if we'd gotten more chances to talk more, but I understand. Real life comes first. (But your own health is always a priority.) Hope to see you around, friend on the other side of the world! :D)

"It's… it's honestly super amazing," her eyes sparkled a tiny bit, just thinking about it, and the corners of her lips lifted up into a sort of half-smile, her mood brightening already. Mya loved flying, it was her favorite thing in the world to do, to be honest. She also loved hanging around animals, they didn't talk back or bark at her to do chores, they just- they just did their own thing. One of the things Mya loved most about animals is that they didn't talk, not really. They made noises, that indicated one thing or another, but they didn't speak any human languages. They were incapable of such a thing, and that was a relief.

@MusicElle-is-here

(aww okay,, hope y’all have a nice day!)

Lindsay relaxed, glad that Mya’s anxieties were lessened. It made her feel better too. Mya seemed quite nice. “That’s cool,” she replied, a tiny bit jealous. She would trade powers in a heartbeat. “So you like being able to fly, I take it? Hows does it work?”

Mya blushed, slightly. See, that was the thing. She kind of had to take of clothes to expose her wings. She shyly slid off her fluffy coat (here but more fluffy and coloured #eeb8ff), showing inky black feathered wings. they were kinda big, hence the amount of fluff in her coat that she was wearing three seconds ago.

@Moriarty

((That's okay, guys! But if I may ask, who is still in this?))
