Marlee blushed and pushed a piece of hair behind her ear. She walked over to Snickers and showed Cory how to put all the tack on.
Ying and Yang ~~~~O/O~~~~ Closed (Stalkers welcome)
Cory watch what Marlee was doing carefully and in a few minutes they were done with the tacking, "What else do we have to do?" Cory asked.
"Well, now we're done with all the grooming and tacking so now we ride." Marlee smiled.
"Okay," Cory sighed, growing nervous again, unsure of how the riding would turn out.
Marlee sensed his the uneasiness in his voice. She walked close to him. "I can walk alongside you and Snickers until you get used to it." She reached down and took his hand. "I won't let anything happen to you."
Cory calmed down instantly and gave Marlee a trusting smile, "Thank you,"
"Of course." Marlee returned his smile. "Are you ready?"
"Yeah," He replied. He drew in a breath and looked at Snickers, "Let's go."
Marlee grabbed a lead rope and realized she was still holding Cory's hand.
Cory followed her and felt a slight pull on his hand as she stepped forward, he looked down and realized she was still holding his hand, surprised he let go and instantly regretted it. He clenched his fists and blushed.
Marlee felt Cory let go of her hand. She felt a sadness rush over her. She blushed a crimson red.
Cory felt stupid and horrible, "S-sorry," Cory said awkwardness, self-hate, and panic flooding through his body. I'm an asshole such a big stupid asshole
"Cory it's okay. I moved to quick. I'm sorry." Marlee looked down. Maybe he'll make a move
Cory looked at her, "I-it's fine, I've never been in a relationship before," He sighed and wrapped his arms around her, "I think you're amazing and so kind, and sweet."
Marlee blushed. "I think you're cute, and super caring." She looked up at him.
Cory blushed as well and looked at her, "Umm, let's get to riding shall we?" He grinned.
(THIS IS TOO CUTE I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!)
"Yes let's." Marlee smiled. Ugh you had the chance to kiss him you coward!
(Aah thank you!)
Cory walked out of the barn with Snickers with a thought still in his mind, Should I have kissed her? Or would that be going to fast? He blushed at the thought.
Marlee walked behind Snickers and Cory with Blaze right beside her. I could always try again later
Cory looked back at Marlee, "So how do you get on s horse?"
"Well, once we get out to the Paddock, there is a mounting block, it kinda looks like a plastic set of stairs. You'll use that and put you left foot in the left stirrup and then swing your right foot over." Marlee explained. Ugh, if he keeps looking at me with his beautiful eyes, I'm gonna forget all about riding.
Cory paused for a second, "That sounds…difficult."
"It isn't at all. Don't worry. I'll help you." Marlee assured him.
Cory nodded and followed her quietly
"You okay?" She asked, worried about his silence.
"Just…thinking," He replied, "and I'm still a bit nervous to do this."
"We don't have to if you don't want to. We could go eat ice cream and try this again some other time." Marlee lead Blaze up so she could stand next to Cory. She reached out and offered her hand to him.
Cory hesitated, then accepted her hand, "I'm willing to try it."
Marlee squeezed his hand. "I promise I won't let anything happen to you. Just relax. And after riding, maybe we could go make cookies."
