"Of course, let me help a bit." She said, moving towards the metal. She carefully removed the large pieces from off of her and found the first aid kit. She opened it to see exactly what she needed. "This might hurt a bit." She said, pulling out the alcohol, bandages, and cotton balls. She got on her knees before leaving the metal that was inside of her side to clog the bleeding. She poured some alcohol on her hands first to sanitize it before putting it around the bleeding.

"Gimme the tissue regenerator. Little metal wand, top left compartment. Yeh'll know it when ya see it." Ainsley gritted her teeth.
"K," She simply said, looking around for a metal wand. Once she spotted it, she handed it over and continued to wrap the wound.
"Agh, lemme handle this now, sweet." she said, waving it over her main wounds. The injuries healed up quickly, and Ainsley was fit as a fiddle within seconds.
Alexa backed up a bit and was immediately slack jawed. "What the heck did you just do? Is that some type of magic voodoo or something?"
"No, basic science. Well, for my time period." Ainsley said.
"We are obviously behind. How long are you staying for?" She asked.
"Dunno. Prol'ly a while, 'ntil my ship repairs itself." Ainsley muttered.
"When it does… can I go with you? I'm quite bored here." She quietly asked, hoping for the answer that she wanted.
"Hmm. Well, I'll actually be needing to…. well, I'll be needing your help for now, I suppose." Ainsley said.
Alexa smiled when she heard it and went back to get her skateboard. "While you're waiting, what do you want to do?"
"Do you know anywhere where I can get a good Protein-6-Minor compound?" Ainsley asked.
"Um, I've never heard of that." Alexa told her sitting back down on her skateboard.
"Ya wouldn't have, I guess." she muttered in reply.
"We have bananas… Do they still exist?" She leaned back and forth having nothing else to do.
"Yeah, they do. Sorry, 'm not at my best right now, still a little dazed. I'll set up the disguise circuits and whatnot, we can find a place to chat after. Don't want nobody finding my ship, ya feel me?"
"'I can totally understand." She said, watching the traveler do whatever high tech science stuff they needed to do.
Ainsley pressed a few buttons, and lead herself and Alexa out of the ship. But there was no longer a ship there, it had become invisible to bystanders.
"So now what?" She asked turning off her phone vibrate since it was getting quite annoying.
"I dunno. What d'you think we should do?" Ainsley asked.
"Well, when we wait for your ship, we can go and get something to eat. Do you guys still eat food or consume it differently?"
"Of course we eat food, ya twit!"
"Ok, then" Alexa said, her hands in front of her like a 'stop' gesture. "Let's go to Arby's. No one ever even goes there."
"Why not?" Ainsley asked. She was genuinely curious, she didn't study 21st century Earth much. She much preferred that of other planets, and that was where she was sent most of the time either way. Earth was still rather primitive, even in her own time. Barring Starship UK, that is, that part of Earth that left, where she was from, was moderately advanced.
"Well, it's not that popular even though the food is good. The line should be short." She said, getting up and holding her skateboard. "It's three miles from here."
"Right. Food. Okay." Ainsley nodded.
Alexa began walking again, occasionally looking back to see if the traveler was still behind her.
Ainsley followed, wondering how she would go about wiping the girl's mind of the encounter. It was sadly necessary to maintain her cover.
When Alexa finally got to the door of Arby's she still checked if the time traveler was behind her again. "What's your name, and do you eat burgers?"
"Miranda." Ainsley lied. "And yes, I do eat burgers."
