"Well, its, er, well, I'm trying to… never mind. Let's go. Tubman, Allie, with me please!" Ainsley called, walking off down the tunnel like she owned the place.
I need a one on one (CLOSED)
"Allie? You have a nickname for me already?" She asked, looking to Miranda.
"Problem? Now, for all we know, the world could be at stake. Follow me!" Ainsley hissed, walking off down the tunnel. Eventually, the group came to a door. "Well, locked. Hmm. Finitosteel, difficult to break, and doesn't belong in this century. Problematic."
"Dang, calm down a bit." Alexa murmured to herself, following behind them. "Again, I don't know what Finitosteel is so talk to me like a child.
"Okay, imagine the strongest material in the world, and double it in strength. Then multiply that by about seven billion." Ainsley explained.
"Wow, okay." She replied in shock. "Do you know where we're heading?"
"Through this door. Rule one: never resist a locked door. Now, if I can just fry the bindings, I might be able to loosen the electromagnetic seal." Ainsley muttered.
"Yea, you do that while I act like I paid attention in science." She mumbled, walking around the place.
"Well, it's a handy class to pay attention in. Also hypnotism and associated psychic skills. That's been a useful class for me." Ainsley said, setting to work on the door.
"Yea… we definitely don't learn that stuff because according to you, this is the dark ages." She responded, chuckling to herself at the end.
"Well, I could have been exaggerating." Ainsley chuckled. Harriet looked at the two in disbelief. They certainly did seem to be a strange couple. And the first, that Miranda woman, seems to have knowledge not of this Earth.
"Even if you weren't, I would have still believed that about the dark ages." She responded, looking back to Harriet.
"Nearly finished…. and there!" Ainsley smiled triumphantly as the door swing open obediently. There was an inhuman, animalistic roar from down the corridor. "Well, better make a start then." she said nervously, walking through into the darkness beyond.
Alexa faltered in her movements slightly when she heard the noise. "What the hell was that?!" She asked partly nervous and confused.
"Probably dangerous. Come on." Ainsley stated, albeit calmly.
Alexa was shocked at how calmly she said it liked she dealt with it before but didn't linger much on it. She just followed her.
"Hmm. Smells disgusting down here." Ainsley complained.
"Probably something died." She responded moving ahead of Miranda to see what was going on.
"Is it weird that I'm loving this?" Ainsley asked.
"Yes, very much. I would loooooooovvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeee," She said, stretching the word. "To leave." She said the last part in a monotone.
"Well, you sure are a spoilsport." Ainsley muttered. "Is she norm'ly like this?" Harriet whispered to Alexa.
"Yes, yes she is." Alexa responded back to Harriet. "I still haven't gotten used to it considering that we met a few hours ago."
"So, eugenics. Lovely thing, when used properly. It's one thing to clone a plant, but yourself? That's a whole matter of domestic issues. Ever tried arguing with yourself? It's frustrating, nobody ever wins." Ainsley began to speak.
