"Well, thank you for the offer. Can I leave now?"

"I suppose so." he said.

"Thank you." He quietly left and walked to his house.

"You're back. And what did they tell you?" Samantha asked, holding a harpoon gun. "We can test my aim with this if you want." she said, mimicking pulling the trigger.

"I was going to anyways. They wanted me to spy on you." He took off his coat and put it in the racks as he held up his hands.

"Oh, did they offer you any money?"

"Yep, twenty thousand dollars a week."

"Pity you refused, we could have split the fee."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes, completely serious you daft idiot!" she said. "I mean, seriously!"

"Why are you calling me idiot now?"

"Because you are one." she said.

"No, i'm not. You're the one that's an idiot. By the way they said that you would get intimate, what did they mean by that?"

"Okay, who did you meet?!"

"I don't know the man's name."

"Well, let me tell you it was once! And they kissed me! My god." she said, mostly to herself, That was an uncomfortable memory.

"Okay then. What was it about?"

"What was what about?"

"Like why did they kiss you?"

"Oh, there was this girl in a club, it was nothing."

"But you were freaking out about it a second ago."

"Okay, maybe I had dated her for a while but we broke up! It was ages ago!"

"Still freaking out."

"Okay, listen. She died a few years ago." Samantha said, looking away.

"Oh, i'm so sorry for you."

"Don't be, I'm over it. But who wanted you to spy on me?"

"Like I said before, I don't know."

"Hmm… well, big deal. If they meet you again and offer the deal go ahead and take it."

"He said my offer still stands but why should I take it?"

"Because it's money, which is a good thing." Samantha said. "Idiot."
