It could be worse: A one on one (CLOSED)

"He's with me. Hayden, this is Hamish Greyson." she said. "It's not Hamish, it's Harris." Greyson muttered.

He held out his hand while smiling, "Nice to meet you, Harris Greyson."

"Harvey, as I said before. Any new cases?" Samantha asked. "First, tell me where the hell you were!" he said.

He put his hand away, "We're actually here to report a case."

"We were kidnapped by a mysterious criminal mastermind, in a nutshell."

"Yep, we just came from there."

"Samantha, listen. There's been another murder." he said.

"Of who?"

"You don't know." Samantha said. "Correct as always." Greyson sighed. "Young woman, in her thirties we presume. Found dead in a hotel room."

"And we're supposed to solve it?" He asked.

"Hayden, of course we're going to solve it. This is what I do!"

"Okay then, I thought you would solve it, not me!"

"Oh, you're going to take notes and be in awe. And compliment my outfit." she said.

"Ew, no way in hell am I ever going to compliment you." He said

"You're doing very well. So, Greyson, obviously we need to check it out pronto. Let's go."

"Whatever, let's get this over with."

Greyson ushered them to a car and a few minutes later they were at the scene. "Oh look, freak's here." a young woman said. "Good to see you too, Adele." she said to the woman, crossing under the police tape.

He quietly crossed under the police tape and looks around for any clues.

"Okay, who's he? Your boyfriend?" the woman called Adele asked Samantha.

"I'm not her boyfriend." He said, rolling his eyes even though he was blushing slightly.

"Shut up, Adele. And how was your night with Sergeant Parker? Stayed up late with him, did you?" she asked.

He quietly observed the scene and the surroundings around him, "Do you have any idea on what they might have used as a weapon?"

"Shut up. Just shut up, you freak!" Adele said, her face turning red as she looked away. Samantha smirked and walked over to where the corpse was found. "Hayden, come along."

"Okay?" He walked over to Samantha, "What is she freaking out over?" He whispered.
