Alison finally finished making tea, and set the kettle on the counter and three mugs, pouring in the steaming liquid.
One on one? (Closed!)
Nico watches, smiling a little. "Bianca used to make tea when it got cold." He says softly. "You remind me a bit of her."
"Is this good or bad?" Alison asked.
"It's a good thing." Nico says softly.
"What was she like? Your sister, I mean." Alison said.
"She was smart, brave, kind… stubborn as well. She always had a smile and saw the bright side of things." Nico says, smiling a little. "She stood strong in her beliefs."
"Sounds like she was brilliant. I… I would have been honored to meet her." she said quietly.
"She was." He replies, "She was what inspired me to fight today." He says softly.
(Will is on the couch sleeping.)
(Oh. Derp. I'll edit that.)
"So, how have things been going at your camp?" Alison asked.
Nico shrugs, "Somewhat peaceful." He says looking at the other.
"That sounds nice, peaceful, I mean. You don't get much of peaceful around here." Alison said.
"Yeah, I noticed." He laughs a little.
"To be quite honest, it's actually very… enjoyable. Enticing. It's utterly mad, but it's brilliant." Alison grinned.
"I could go for a little peace here and then." Nico replies, laughing a little.
"Come hang out in my hometown. Lannet, the armpit of Lancashire. Quiet, peaceful, but boring." Alison chuckled.
"Sounds like paradise to me." He replies.
"Nah, not really. Not for me, at least. The most exciting thing ever to happen there, barring the incident with those Shalka creatures, was a stray cat accidentally getting drunk and wandering aimlessly around town." she said.
"Pfft. Wow." He replies, laughing lightly.
"I'm being serious here." she said.
"that sounds like a life I would enjoy actually. I've seen to much war to want anything else."
"Feel free to take a vacation. Actually, that would be pretty cool now you think of it. You and Will could meet Joe!" Alison said brightly.
"That would be wonderful." Nico replies happily.
"I should ask the Doctor about it, but he might say that people from different time periods shouldn't do much in the way of long-term interaction. Bloody hypocrite." she laughed. "It's only a decade between the two, you know, 2003 and 2018. Not much time at all."
"Touche." Nico replies. "Technically I'm from the 1950's but whatever."
"Wow, didn't know you were so old, grandpa." Alison joked.
"Har har. I was in a hotel that made me never age. Lotus hotel in Las Vegas Nevada."
"Wow, Vegas huh? I understand your pain. Vegas is a total hellhole. Been there once, never again. Not much of a casino girl." she said.
"Yep." He replies. "Never was myself. My dad dumped me there and then scampered back into the underworld. Hades never was best when it came to his kids."
