Nico backs away from the whole situation. He hurries to Alisons side, "I'm going to go take care of Will. I don't think I'm needed here." He mutters to her.

"Erm, I kinda think that I might want to go too." Alison said, watching the scene. It seemed the Doctor was trying to calm the Corsair down, but obviously failing horribly as the taller man kept screaming at the Master, eventually speaking an entirely different language. Alison thought the TARDIS translated anything and everything, but there must be some alien languages that didn't fall under the category of 'anything and everything'. She slowly backed out of the room, bringing Nico along with her. There was a strange, twisting feeling in her gut. Genocide? The Doctor did say he'd done terrible things, but…. Alison's thoughts were buzzing around her head, unorganized, frantic, trying to process all the (albeit sparing) information she had received whilst travelling with the Doctor.

Nico nods and smiles a little, walking back towards the son of Apollo. He looks up at the two and smiles. "Alison, Nico." He mutters, running a hand through his dark gold curls.

"Hey, Will. Just leaving the Time Dorks to their screaming match." Alison sighed.

@Vuclan-is-tired

"Ah. That sounds fun." He chuckles, smiling a little.

"It really isn't. I kinda wish I could step in, but I don't think I'd be of any use." she sighed.

He nods, "Same with Percy and Annabeth. Never get in front of those two when they're arguing."

"Except it's three, and only one of them is technically arguing. More like shouting insults, but whatever." Alison said. She felt confused, lost, and enraged at being kept in the dark about everything all the time.

He nods and takes a breath, looking around. Nico glances at him. "What's wrong, Will." He shakes his head.

"Anyways, I'm almost hoping that the general might phone back. It would be a lovely distraction, for one thing." Alison continued. "Wait, what's what?" she asked.

Will slowly stands and looks around, shaking his head.

"Will, are you alright? Is this normal? Does he normally do this?" Alison asked Nico. "Would I need to perform an exorcism of whatever it is you demigods do?" she said.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Nico looks at the other. "It happens rarely. As a son of Apollo, he can see things that others can't see." He mutters.

"Will, what is it?" Alison asked warily.

@Vuclan-is-tired

He shuts his eyes and looks down, shaking his head. "It's gone."

"What is?" she asked.

@Vuclan-is-tired

"I thought I saw something. I was wrong." Will replies as he sits back down.

"Mm. Okay." Alison said, not entirely convinced Will was telling the truth. They say in silence for several minutes, when the screen flickered to life. "Miss Cheney?" a voice asked. "General, we have no interest-" said Alison, turning to face the screen, and then stopped. "Is that Lieutenant Havsham?" she asked. "Yes, Miss Cheney. I need to speak with you and your comrades in confidence. Is this channel secure?" Havsham asked. "Yes," said Alison. She couldn't imagine either the Master or the Doctor setting up a connection that could be overheard. "But I have nothing to say to you that hasn't already been said to your general. All we want is a meeting about the treaty, and your army doesn't seem prepared to give it to us." she said. "Listen, I'll have to put you on hold, but I'll go and fetch the Doctor, and then we'll talk, hopefully about peace." she said, standing up. "I understand completely. I will wait for your return." the lieutenant nodded.

Will rests against Nico tiredly, his eyes shutting. He was so tired. He always was when he saw something. It was so blurry this time.

A scant minute later, Alison returned with the Time Lord trio. "Lieutenant Havsham, what is it you have to say?" the Doctor asked quickly. "not all of us feel the same way as the general. I've been thinking about things, the war, and I think I've seen enough of my people die. I want them to be safe, my only child to be safe. I'm sure at least one of you can sympathize." Havsham said earnestly. The Master spoke up, surprising Alison not for adding to the conversation, but for his statement. "I understand. I lost a daughter to the flames of war. Never again." he said quietly. "Alright, so what are you proposing?" the Corsair asked, he was calmer but still wary of the Master, standing as far away as he could from the android. "Yeah, the Corsair is right. What exactly are you saying?" said Alison. She knew what it sounded like, but that was almost too much to hope for. "I'm saying that a treaty can be arranged, even if the general does not want it. This is in your interest, I presume?" Havsham said.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Nico and Will look towards each other, their eyes painfilled. Nico looks at Will and nods in understanding. "I speak for the both of us. No more war."

"It is absolutely in our interest." the Doctor said. "Wait, this was a mission to eliminate the rebellion as a stop to the war, if I remember correctly?" the Corsair said. "Since when were you the lapdog of the Time Lords, Corsair? You do know how I do things." the Doctor said. "Yes, I suppose the way you do things is resurrecting homicidal maniacs and then snogging them into oblivion. I suppose you don't even see each other as enemies anymore, do you?" the Corsair snapped. "Oh, no, we happen to be mortal enemies. Truly, there is nothing I would delight in more than the Doctor's demise, but in the current situation causing it, for me, would be akin to shooting myself not only in the foot, but in both hearts and the head. Thus, I make do with the little vengeance I can take for my own." the Master said calmly. However, his devious statements were slightly canceled out by the hand he was sliding around the Doctor's waist, gloved hand resting on his partner's hip, and allowing the Doctor to drape his own arm over the Master's shoulder. "Erm, can we get back on topic please? Making peace and all that jazz?" Alison asked. "I can't tell whether or not you're being serious, Master. And yes, we should discuss the treaty, I agree." the Doctor said, turning to the screen.

Nico and Will raise an eyebrow at the entire conversation. "Um… okay then." Will mutters, chuckling a little before crying out in pain as his head throbs sharply.

"Are you saying that there might be a coup? A revolution?" the Doctor asked. "Merely a change in leadership," said Havsham. "A change which would take into consideration your suggestions of negotiation. If you can contact the rebels and ask them to cease fire tonight, it will be done immediately. Most of our support is on the front lines, and cannot be recalled until there is a let-up in the fighting." the lieutenant explained calmly. Alison nodded, thinking quickly and trying to figure out whether there were any problems with the plan. "How do I know you're not just trying to get the rebels to stop fighting so that you can lead a charge?" she asked. "There will be no movement toward their encampment, only away. You do not have to place any trust in me whatsoever. As soon as anyone nears the rebels without hailing them, they will be well within their rights to shoot." Havsham said. "Alright," said the Doctor slowly. "We'll arrange the ceasefire." "Good," said Havsham. "I have no more time. I will not expect any signal besides the silence on the front lines." the screen went blank after that.

Nico grabs his shoulder. "Will?" Will shakes his head. "I'm fine…"

"Ah, it seems we have no further need of your assistance, Corsair. But honestly, do tell me why you're acting like such a blathering fool, I would truly like to know." the Master said scornfully. "Why you little…" the Corsair looked murderous, but decided to not retaliate further. He looked as if any fight in him had left. "Alright, fine. If you truly want a confession, they've taken my son to the Death Zone and refuse to give him back to me until I've payed my dues, alright? Are you happy now?" he asked mournfully. "Mm. Satisfactory for now, despite the low plausibility. I thought they had stopped using the place centuries ago, in truth. As if the Time Lords would be so barbaric," the Master said. "I'm not lying, as if you aren't careful, they'll come for you too. I'm just trying to keep you from that desolate pit of hellishness, Doctor, as you're one step away from getting sentenced there. If you truly have no further need of me, I shall depart. But don't say I didn't warn you!" the Corsair huffed, obviously torn between several emotions at once, by trying to hide it. "I'm sorry. Is there nothing that can be done?" the Doctor asked suddenly. "Oh, don't get yourself involved in this foolishness, my dearest. After all, you have a war to sort out." the Master scoffed. "There isn't anything, but your offer… was kind of you." the Corsair left, saying nothing else. The Doctor glanced over at the Master, a we-need-to-talk-alone look on his face. "Miss Cheney, I presume you can handle this? Here are some separate notes, in your language. The TARDIS won't translate Gallifreyan as it is our native tongue, but I highly doubt you know it. My apologies for not realizing this sooner, you could have gotten much more done otherwise. I have some…. important matters to attend to, I trust you can take initiative." the Master said, walking off with the Doctor, their voices in hushed whispers. "Well, what d'you know? The robot was actually helpful. For once." Alison muttered, scanning the notes and messing with the monitor, unsure exactly what she should do next.

Nico and Will watch the interaction. "Is it your dad?" He asks quietly. Will's eyes glint green. "Beware those around you…" He rasps, his voice different. "Danger is around each corner. Friends will kill friends, enemies shall unite and the dead shall rise again." He hisses.

"Okay, I don't care what demigod bullcrap this is, I'm getting the holy water!" Alison said, legitimately terrified.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Nico waves his hand as Will's eyes go back o crystal and he collapses tiredly into Nico's arms. "It's the curse of Apollo. Once every, I dunno. Blue moon or something, Apollo picks an heir for the 'blessing of apollo.' Will was the proper requirement…" Nico explains.

"I'm going to pretend I understood that." Alison mumbled.
