Will slowly woke up, grunting a little in pain. Nico opened an eye. "You okay, Will?" Will shook his head, his eyes wide with panic as he looks around. "Where did everyone go?" He asks quietly, continuing to look around.

"Morning sleepyheads. Well, more like late afternoon, but whatever. The Doctor and that Kate woman just got back, they're testing something, I dunno. Yeah, anyways, I snuck off to the TARDIS to chat with the robot, he's been no help, couldn't even find him, so I just decided to come back and sit here with you two until you got up. I'm on my ninth Sudoku book, you guys are heavy sleepers." Alison giggled.

Will shrugs and smiles a little bit. "I always have been." He says happily, chuckling as he rests against Nico tiredly.
(Ah, okay.)
"Alison, would you- oh, Will, Nico, glad to see you're up. Now, as it so happens, I have a question or two to ask all of you. If I asked a group a question, they didn't know the answer, I told one of them with nobody around to hear me, no way of communication, and suddenly the rest of the group knew the answer, what do you think would have caused such a thing?" the Doctor asked, walking into the room.

Nico and Will look up when the doctor came in, nodding slightly as they watch him. Nico bites his lip, still trying to wake up. Will just looked dead inside as he watches the exchange. Nico shakes his head. "That is pretty weird…" He mutters, tapping his chin.
"Erm, ah, telepathy maybe! I'm right, right? Doctor, is it telepathy? Oh my freaking goodness, it's telepathy right? That would be awesome, telepathy I mean." Alison babbled on about the amazingness of telepathy until the Doctor interrupted. "It's the most likely conclusion, yes. But it's not awesome when used for, well, evil purposes." he said, shrugging slightly. "Okay, but what's causing it exactly? Because I was filled in on everything an it says all the tests came back as water." Alison pointed out. "Well, I've been doing some testing of my own. It's not water. But I'm still in the process of figuring out what it is." the Doctor sighed.

Nico and Will share a look. "Telepathy?" They say at the same time.
"Yes, Alison was correct." the Doctor said. "Doctor, the tests have come in, you'll want to see this." Kate said, handing him a datapad. "Oh, hello, it's nice to see that you two are awake. Didn't get much of a chance to get to know each other, did we?" Kate asked. "Chameleon molecule that becomes more powerful every time swallowed. Interesting." the Doctor said. In the background, the news was displayed on a screen. Alison turned the volume up so it was just on the edge of hearing, watching the reporter. "….. Breaking news, the city is under attack….. do not touch the children under any circumstances….. yes, it's true, they've completely changed appearance, they're golden!" the reporter said, watching from the roof of a building. "It can absorb energy, changing tissue! It increases the links between neurons, and what are those called?" he asked everyone. "Doctor, look." Alison pointed to the screen. "One moment, Alison! I'm making deductions!" he snapped. "Axons! The links between neurons….. Kate, send in for backup. The world is in danger. Tell them Code Red Axos." the Doctor said quickly. "You can't possibly mean…" "I'm afraid I do." he replied. Kate ran off. "Doctor, what is it?" Alison asked. "Alison, I'm so sorry. You need to trust me." the Doctor said. "Doctor, look at the news for God's sake!" Alison shouted. "Oh Rassilon….. they've already begun conversion. We need to go, now." the Doctor said.

Nico and Will watch with completely confused expressions as the two talked. They were demigods, and none of this was making sense to them. "What's going on?" Will asks quietly.
(Oh, it's fine, no worries.)
"Axos was one particular foe I defeated when I was exiled to Earth-long story, no time to tell you right now, maybe later-with the help of UNIT. It is, or rather was, trapped in a time loop. We don't have any time to waste, let's go!" the Doctor said, pulling them along. UNIT soldiers were firing past a barricade at the transformed, but it seemed that the children weren't taking any damage. "Stop firing!" the Doctor shouted. "Why? We're under attack!" a soldier said. "One: the Axons are inhabiting the bodies of children. If the Axon within a child dies, then the child dies as well. Two: Axons are virtually indestructible. And three: humans aren't! Get away, now!" the Doctor said. "Split up! Alison, Major Hiraki, Kate, go! Will, Nico, with me!" he barked. The three women ran off, while orders to retreat echoed across the station.
Will and Nico run with the doctor, Will stumbling and trembling but managing to keep up. His breathing was sketchy though. Nico keeps glancing at him.
"Lab, tech, need to find." the Doctor spat out, running down a barren corridor. He came to a door that looked promising, and pushed the door open. "Alright, where shall we begin then?" he asked, cracking his knuckles.
Nico nods and joins the doctor but Will hesitated. He pants, collapsing against the wall. Nico hurries to his side and helps him after the doctor, his eyes concerned.
"Right! If I can disrupt the signal, turn the children back, we'll probably be able to save the city!" he said, beginning to assemble some kind of metal helmet. "I need, I need, ah, a spoon! Or some small bit of metal similar!" he said.
Nico offers his last position from his sister, a silver ring. "Here."
"Fantastic! I'll give it back, don't worry, this will just help convey the charge." he said. "And done! Now all I have to do is…" the power went out, suddenly. "…. plug it in. Damn." he groaned.
Nico looks around in surprise. "What's going on?" He asks, supporting Will, who moaned softly.
"Power outage." he said. "But weirdly enough, they have backups. So something must be causing it, and you can probably guess what."
Nico nods and takes a breath, holding onto Will.
"Alright, we'll need to find Alison and the others, then." he decided.
"How? They could be anywhere. And I can't keep dragging Will. He's to sick." Nico looked at the doctor, trembling a little bit. Will was so weak… he didn't know what to do.
"Unfortunately, the world is at stake, so we can't really worry about whether or not your boyfriend has the flu." the Doctor said with clinical disinterest.
(I won't be on a lot today until the end of the day. I have PSAT)
"He doesn't have the flu! Goddamnit, Will! C'mon." He mutters. Will groans weakly. "I'll be fine. Go with the doctor."
