Avie huffs before seeming to give up and gently licks Bastian's nose. Halo laughs silently before running a gently hand through Bastians hair.

Bastian hummed happily as Halo ran his hand through his hair. He laughed a bit when Avie licked his nose, so he kept petting her in response

Halo chuckles and nuzzles Bastians nose. "I'm the luckiest man alive."

"Agreed," Bastian chuckled, grinning even more when Halo nuzzled his nose. He nuzzled him back, feeling like a complete dork

Halo chuckles, and kisses Bastian softly, "I love you." He mutters,

"Love you too," Bastian mumbled, smiling gently as he kissed him

Halo chuckles the sputters when Avie decided to lick them both happily.

Bastian recoiled when he began licking them. "Avie!" he laughed, squirming as he tried to nudge her face away

Avie barks happily, standing on Bastians chest and licking him happily.

Bastian squirmed and laughed, trying to get away from Avie's tongue. "Hlfkh, Avie, stop it," he laughed

Halo picks Avie up and nuzzles her nose. "That's enough cutie." She barks and wags her tail before he places her back on Bastians chest.

Bastian chuckled and wrapped an arm around Avie, petting her and nuzzling her cheek once she had gotten situated

Avie pants happily, before nuzzling into Bastian and slowly falling asleep. Halo smiles and chuckles softly.

Bastian smiled lovingly at Avie, enjoying just how adorable her sleeping on his chest was

Halo looks down at him, kissing his nose. "Honestly, you two are so cute."

“Yeah? Big scary demon cuddling a tiny, fluffy puppy is pretty cute,” Bastian answered softly, not wanting to wake Avie

Halo smiles at that. "Indeed." He smirks at the other before leaning back as he runs a hand through Bastians hair.

Bastian all but purred at the attention, enjoying the feeling of Halo’s hand in his hair

Halo chuckles. "A snake, a dog, and a cat. My my."

"Hush," Bastian said jokingly, cracking an eye open to look at him before returning to dozing in his hold

Halo smiles, gently playing with his hair. "I love you, you dork." He mumbles, kissing Bastians forehead.

Bastian preened in the attention, letting himself melt into the affectionate touches. He couldn't be more at peace

Halo smiles, sighing happily as he shuts his eyes.

Bastian had eventually dozed off, and didn't wake up until very late in the day

Halo was still asleep when Bastian woke, looking peaceful and relaxed. Avie was up, sniffing around.

Bastian made a small noise as he felt Avie shifting, and he mumbled something incoherent as he tried to go back to sleep

Avie licks his nose, whining softly.
