(she was going to visit her grandfather in his tribe's village for her 15th birthday on a small plane with her mom, dad, and two twin little sisters, Alice and Willow, when the plane crashed, killing everyone but her)
(plus she's bi and has a girlfriend back at home [Ottawa], named Roanne, and speaks fluent French, English, and almost fluent Athapascan)

Callie wrote down all the supplies that they listed, plus what she had:

She was somewhat proud that they accomplished this much so far. Who would have thought a pack of 16 year olds, let alone a girl by herself, would be able to survive a plane crash? Once she was done, she noticed Cassie and Pine.
She muttered under her breath possible ship names for the two. She also noticed that it was really dark at this point.
(Cassie will be horrified when she finds out that Callie has a ship name for her and Pine. XD)
Callie heard River’s question, but was too busy writing to respond. Realizing River was still waiting for an answer, she spoke up. “Yeah. We’re coming. Do you happen to know where we are?”

Callie just let out a long squeal.
“Eeeeeeeeee!” Callie realized that Cassie was still sleeping and tried to whisper. “My ship is sailing! Pinesie is happening!” She cleared her throat and calmed down. “But, yeah, when you were off getting sticks for her splint, we were talking. I can’t tell what we said because doctor-patient confidentiality, but I’m pretty sure she likes you too.”
"S-ship? Pinesie? God almighty, you're sounding like my dads." Pine smiled anxiously.
“Sorry,” she said sheepishly, “I can’t help it. I ship what I see. But trust me. You two are made for each other. But don’t let anything go too far. We still have to get home.”
River glanced at them quickly, a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. I wish Roanne was here…, she thought, thinking wistfully of her artistic girlfriend back at home. Miss you, luv., she thought, quiet, almost as if she was pretending to send a text to her.
(which is better for a girl, Roan or Roanne [both pronounced ROW-uhn]?)
