"Really?" Aliana responded with a grin, "I suppose. The little buggers are cute, but also devils.

Hatta smiled. "Yeah." he replied, shrugging a little.

Aliana hummed for a second as she thought of a question, "Favorite food?"

"Hm. Anything sweet." he replied with a chuckle.

Aliana laughed as he responded, "Sweet is good. Sugar and candy is definitely a favorite."

Hatta chuckled, nodding. "Yeah."

Aliana hummed once more. She wondered how far away the guardian was from here.

Hatta kept walking quietly, eyes flashing around. "What about you? What's your favorite food?"

"Like you," Aliana said glancing around noticing Hatta doing the same, "Anything sweet."

Hatta smiled. "Mm. Alright."

Aliana smiled back, "Cake especially."

Hatta nodded. "Good, thick, rich cake. With a little ice cream in the middle."

"Ooooo," Aliana's eyes lit up as he spoke, "Yes! Especially that!"

Hatta grinned over at her. "Oh, with that really good, sweet icing on top!"

"Absolutely!" Aliana exclaimed, "And the little candies dotting the top!"

Hatta nodded. "Oooh, definitely!" he agreed happily.

Aliana laughed and looked at him beaming, "Glad we agree!"

Hatta nodded. "Mhm. When this is all over, if I'm still…me…then we should get some cake."

Aliana felt her smile turn bittersweet, "When your still you, yeah. We should definitely get some cake."

Hatta nodded. "Yeah." he glanced ahead at the road. "Sorry, I…probably shouldn't have said that."

"Maybe not," Aliana took a deep breath and looked ahead, "But it's fine."

Hatta sighed softly. "Mm. Alright."

Aliana hummed again once more, "Sooo, favorite type of cake?"

Hatta smiled. "We just described it." He replied.

Aliana laughed as she looked to Hatta, "I guess we did. But will it be red velvet? Chocolate?"

"Hmm…vanilla." he replied with a laugh. "What about you?"

"Chocolate," Aliana responded fairly quickly, "I would gladly die for chocolate."

Hatta chuckled at that. "Chocolate, huh?" he smiled a little.

Aliana smiled a little as a light dusting of pink colored her face, "Yes chocolate. It's a wonder no one could ever deny."

Hatta smiled. "Mm. I actually have to agree with you there, I suppose." he said.
