She graduated college with a degree in interior design and business

She accidentally killed her brother Sean's girlfriend at a pool party and he's never forgiven her for it. She went on the run after this happened and proceeded to meet Madeline in college. Madeline took care of the police and Payton has been free of investigation since then, but in turn owed Madeline a favor.

She had a girlfriend in high school but they broke up before college. Afterward, she met and started dating Jason.

She has three brothers, Sean, Tyler and Connor.
