He was born and raised in Isaedia. His father was a drunk and abusive and his mother was neglectful and emotionally distant. They were poor, and by the time Lycus was fourteen he was left to fend for himself. He had grown to hate his family, and took after his dad in his lack of morals. He would take any job he could get, a few times taking offers to assassinate. He found he was good at it, and so did one of the eight crime lords. Cyrus. Cyrus took Lycus in and trained him, sending him off to distant continents to train as well. Lycus became strong, stronger than Cyrus himself. He became power-hungry, and by the time he was twenty, he killed Cyrus and took his spot in the food chain, becoming one of the eight crime lords who ran Isaedia behind the scenes. People feared and respected him. From his fight with Cyrus, he found out the hard way the man was a shapeshifter in disguise. Cyrus transformed into a wolf, and while they were fighting, scratched Lycus's face, leaving the right side of his face marred by claw marks that went from above his brow to his cheekbone. It left him blind in his right eye. There were also scars marred on his chest, close to his heart. Lycus took Cyrus's title, and built up, quickly becoming one of the youngest crime lords and the third most powerful in Isaedia. He had his own team of thieves and assassins. He became incredibly rich and took pleasure in things such as torture, and theater. He created his own team of killers. Kenna being one. Because of his nickname, and hatred of wolves, he abandoned his name "Lycus" and people began to call him Scar.
