History
In the midsts of prehistory, a small island town, named Ard-Righ by his inhabitants, was thriving. Harvests were bountiful, trade was thriving, and joy was to be found everywhere. To express this, the children of Ard-Righ gathered colorful flowers and rocks, smashed them up, and painted every corner of the village with a vibrant shade of green, blue, red, and orange. Thus his inhabitants came to be known as 'the Colourful People', and himself 'the Colored Village'.
All good things had to end, and Ard-Righ came to a short and sudden demise. One particular harvest was struck by an early frost, which decimated all crops. To make matters worse, the early winter lasted for eight moons, a never before seen period of cold. In desperation, almost all of Ard-Righ's people went on a journey to the south, crossing a small sea in a blizzard, and fading into the snow. The ones that stayed behind lived in constant hunger and cold, and the only thing they could do was pray, and wait.
And wait they did. When winter finally ceased, a dozen men, women, and children were left. All colour and life had faded from the village. All animals were either dead or to the south, and no living seeds of the previous summer were left. To make matters worse, multiple buildings had collapsed in the snow, and the Colored Village was nothing but ruins, dead. Dismayed, the people went south, to the shores of the island, to hopefully rebuild from whatever meagre scraps of materials and humanity they had left.
From this came the city of Airde, and the people of Vesi. The island was never struck with such a winter again.
2500 BC.
The Chobbian War, and the Frankish War.
