Overview
Rathor
He is the youngest of Agia's sons, and is gifted with foresight. He is known as a Watcher deity alongside his brothers: an entity that roams the world protecting Agia's creations from those who would desecrate or destroy them.
Rathor the Mystic, the Watcher of Seas
Appearance
In his divine form, Rathor is a white-tailed stag. His coat was pure white, but has taken on a somewhat greyer shade along his legs and has grey markings on various areas of his body. These areas glow a bright light blue when he is using his powers.
In mortal form, Rathor takes on the appearance of an average-height, lanky river elf. He has olive skin covered in tattoos (mainly on his arms and legs) which will glow when using his powers, emulating his divine form. His hair is a greyish-white that is often messy and wavy, and keeps a soul patch of the same colour. In both forms his eyes glow with a divine golden light, but he wears a blindfold in mortal form in order to conceal it.
8'5" in divine form
5'11" in mortal form
~410lbs in divine form
155lbs in mortal form
Family
Symbolism
For mortals, Rathor is a symbol of clarity, focus, and tranquility. He is the patron deity of sailors, but also for some types of magic users. Rathor is usually represented by an all-seeing eye, a vase of water, or an island.
Water and wind are usually associated with Rathor.
Powers
Rituals
Seers and sailors are the ones often praying to Rathor for safe passage on their voyages and for clarity and accuracy in their weather forecasts.
Having foresight, it is incredibly challenging to be able to outsmart Rathor. If, by some stroke of luck or genius, someone managed to trick or outsmart Rathor without him knowing, he would reward the mortal by granting them a blessing. The blessing would heighten the recipient's senses in battle, making them more likely to read their opponent's moves and dodge attacks more often.
Conversely, if someone attempted to trick Rathor by pulling off his blindfold, he would curse them with knowing exactly how and when they will die.
Rathor prefers not to speak like the other divines, instead choosing to use more mortal vocabulary (i.e. he will not use "thou"). He is also very buddy-buddy with the mortals he meets, liking to joke around and occasionally play harmless tricks on them; this often makes mortals wonder if he is truly a god. He is rather hospitable with most people he comes across.
