The 24 families of Old Hyrule's nobility who escaped the Calamity by fleeing to their safe haven in Akkala and survived long enough to shape the policy of New Hyrule.

Purpose
Progressivism and the rising middle class are their biggest obstacles, as well as the threat of the newest of their generations breaking tradition by marrying commoners.
Their main goal is to preserve their family lines and, just as importantly, their wealth and status.
These noble families are motivated by the idea that they are the arbiters of Hylian culture and the true Hyrulean Kingdom. They are also of the opinion that they should be respected above all others, second only to the King/Queen, and hold the staunchest Traditionalist values.
Being so wealthy generally comes with little risks compared to commoners, but their money does tend to make them targets of bandits and thieves, as well as radicals who believe tat they are holding back Hyrule's progress.
