"Yes, I do!" she shot over her shoulder. She faced front and started the thrusters. "It's just been awhile," she murmured.

"Dont kill us please. " "Clint mutters.

"Have faith," Maria retorted. The jet lifted into the air.

"Ah shit…" he hisses, "You better know what you are doing."

Jackson looks around blearily at the craft.

Kate reached out and took Jackson's hand.
"I know how to fly a quinjet, Clint!" Maria snapped.

Jackson looks down at her and smiles, tightening his hand around hers

She didn't reply, just flipped some switches on the control board and the jet zipped away from the HYDRA base.
Kate smiled back wearily. "If I don't make it…" she began faintly

"No. Bad Kate. Dont say that. You'll be fine." He tighten his grip on her hand
"Now as for you." Clint turns to the doctor

He had said nothing since they got on the ship, just smiled.
"I mean it," Kate whispered.

"Shush!!" Jackson taps her forehead
"So. Who are you really?" Clint crosses his arms

"Jackson, I'm serious," she whispered.
The doctor made no movement.
Maria relaxed more once the jet was in the air and the destination had been selected.

Jackson falls silent.
Clint glares at the man, "Well?"

"If I don't make it," she started again, "I need you to know that I don't regret anything about that mission, okay?"
Nothing.

"What do you mean?"
Clint snarls, "Talk!"

"Like I did before. I didn't want to go, but I don't regret anything that happened."
He just smiled.

Jackson tilts his head.
"Maria! He's being stubborn!" Clint calls to the front

Kate sighed. "It hurts a lot…"
"Is he now?" Maria called back, spinning around in the chair and walking back to Clint.

"Its going to he ok."
Clint nods, "He just smiles nonstop.,"

"You don't know that."
Maria crossed her arms. "Why don't you fly?" she suggested to Clint, not breaking eye contact with the man.

"Yes I do."
He nods and walks to the front to take the helm

"Give me one good reason, Jackson," she begged. "How do you know?"

Maria grabbed his collar and dragged him to a more private part of the plane.
"Maria," he purred.
"Don't even start." She slammed him against the wall.
He smiled charmingly at her. "If I can seduce Maria Hill once, I bet I could do it again… Besides, our daughter needs us."
"My daughter is out there bleeding to death from a bullet wound. I suggest you stop talking before I decide to kill you," Maria said in a very quiet, very deadly voice.

Youre going to be fine. Just. Trust me." Jackson hisses.

"I trust you," Kate breathed quietly.

"Maria," he cooed softly. "Kate is my daughter just as much as she is yours. You'd be willing to deprive her of a loving father figure?" His hand brushed her waist.
She slapped his hand away and slammed him against the wall again. "Dammit, Louis, I wouldn't hesitate right now to put a gun to your head and pulled the trigger."

Jackson smiles slightly at Kate, "I dont think you should. Especially since… Ya know… ADHD. That came out weird. Uh."

Kate smiled faintly and tugged him towards her to kiss him lightly.

Louis winced, then smirked at her. "Agent Hill… Whatever happened to–"
The gun was in her hand and pressed to his temple in a flash.
"One more word," she breathed, "and you're dead."

He smiles into it and gently leans over for her

Kate breathed a small sigh of relief, not sure if he was going to kiss her back or not.

Louis fell silent. She smirked. "That's what I thought." In a swift motion, she delivered a blow to his head and knocked him out.

Jackson sits up again, rubbing his eyes. He crosses his arms and legs and rests his chin on his chest.
