So I presented more like my non binary self for the first day of school and my zucchini said I looked good and "very enby"
Some people couldn't recognize me (half the reason is the mask) and two people asked me for my pronouns. It felt GREAT to respond they/them. I told one group of friends I was figuring out my non binaryness and they clapped lol. They're also queer Christians like me, which is important to us so we're in a group chat now. I got to introduce myself as Owen twice. I'm thinking of telling a few teachers my preffered name/pronouns, but idk if I should/if it'd be worth it. Does anyone have experience with that?

So I can fill out a form for my college so I'm registered with my preferred name on things like teacher attendance and shit like that, but I'm also scared out of my wits to fill it out because my parents are extremely unaccepting. (They now know most of what I am, after I was forced out of the closet by them) And I'm a legal adult so they can't stop me, but I really need a push to fill out the form. please help me….

It's definitely a lot easier to be out at college, away from your parents. I genuinely think it'll be worth it. And depending what of yours they have access to, there's a possibility they wouldn't even see your preferred name because you're an adult and you have to give permission for them to access things like finances.
