Davin let out a faint laugh, and nodded. "Yeah. And yeah. Nothing is gonna be permanent, and you can't put it on your resume or you'll leave a paper trail." He sighed softly.

"Yeah, exactly," Tohru sighed, "It's fine though. We have a while before we have to make rent. We'll figure something out. Say, I'm pretty hungry. Want to go into town with me?"
Davin nodded again, getting up. "Sure, let's go." He replied with a quick smile. He put his device away and put his hood up. "I could use some food."
group
Tohru slipped his device into his jacket pocket, fixed his bun, and started towards the door. He checked his pockets for his money before they left.
Davin followed Tohru with a faint little smile. "Where are you thinking of going?" he asked, raising his eyebrows slightly.
group
"We can figure that out on the way," Tohru said, "I don't know the first thing about this place, so I don't have the slightest clue where to go."
Davin nodded a little bit. "Alright." he replied. He knew that nowhere would serve Kaythani food. He had accepted that a long time ago. Sometimes, though, he could find similar stuff.
group
"What kind of food do you like?" Tohru asked, pulling his device back out and scrolling through a page.
"I can try to find something."
He shrugged his shoulders. "I'll eat just about anything." he replied after a moment. "I've learned not to be all that picky with what I eat." he looked over at Tohru, flashing a quick, faint little smile.
group
"Well, yeah, but good food can always lift the spirits a bit," Tohru replied, flashing a smile back, "It doesn't hurt to indulge yourself some."
He walked outside into the street, holding the door for Davin.
Davin chuckled softly. "I mean…that's true too." He replied with a slight shrug, looking over at Tohru. He adjusted his cloak as he walked out the door.
group
"Heh, well, I'm sure there are a lot of options. At least one ought to be good," Tohru continued.
He looked over at Davin, his lashes fluttering as he blinked at the other.
Davin smiled at Tohru, taking a deep breath. "Well yeah, I'm sure something will be, yeah." he replied with a shrug. He didn't quite know what to say.
group
Tohru walked ahead of Davin, his arms crossed. He was silent for a bit. What could he say to the other? He had tried to capture him, shot him, and completely uprooted him again.
"Wait a sec- how's your arm?" he asked.
"Uhm." he glanced at his arm, and shrugged slightly. "It's fine. I can check it again later, but it's not bleeding or anything, so I think I'm fine."
group
"Does it hurt, though?" Tohru asked softly, "Gods, I feel bad about it all still. I can buy more bandages or some medicine if you need while we're out."
He shrugged again. "It doesn't hurt that bad, Tohru." he replied, looking over at the other male. "Some more bandages might be good, though, thanks."
group
"Yeah, but I-I still feel guilty," Tohru said, "I shot you!"
He ran a hand through his hair nervously.
He let out a faint laugh. "Yes, well. Believe it or not, that wasn't the first time I've been shot. So. Whatever." he replied with a shrug. "Doesn't matter. It'll heal up soon enough. I'm actually more pissed that I let you handcuff me because I thought it was some kink."
group
Tohru snorted with laughter.
"Oh? I've been shot before, too, and it's not great, but- Heh… a kink? That's not quite my speed, but uh… it's pretty funny you thought I'd be the type to do that."
He kept chuckling to himself, amused by the thought.
(Gtg to bed soon)
Davin laughed, smiling a little and shaking his head. "I didn't think you were, but then you handcuffed me while kissing me. What the fuck else was I supposed to think? "Bounty hunter" never occurred to me."
group
"True," Tohru replied, "I guess that's a reasonable conclusion. But still…"
He chuckled again.
"Not really my speed."
He shrugged. "Hmm. Alright. Good to know." he replied.
group
Tohru sighed and flipped through his device again.
"How does this place look?" he asked, stopping to show the screen to Davin.
Davin peeked over, and nodded. "Yeah, that looks good." he replied, shooting Tohru a quick smile. "Thanks."
group
“Yeah, of course,” Tohru replied.
He followed the directions on his device until they came across a district that glowed slightly red with its neon lighting. It was scattered with shops, vendors, and little hole-in-the-wall restaurants.
Davin smiled a little at the sight, and snapped a picture. He had a tendency to do that; just take pictures of places, and squirrel those pictures away. He knew the reason for it; knew why he did it. He did it because he didn't have enough pictures of his own home, and he wanted to remember details. He used what pictures he did have to help him remember, kept a little journal filled with all his homeworld's customs and traditions, the people. The tribes, the clans. Names and titles. Everything he could remember or could find information about.
group
"You think it's pretty here?" Tohru asked with a smile as he watched Davin take pictures, "It definitely has an odd charm about it. It's definitely a bit different than my hometown."
He scanned the street for the restaurant he had looked up, but was overwhelmed by all the sights. Tohru would have loved to visit everything here eventually, even if just to look.
"Well. It's not exactly pretty, but…i take pictures to help with my memory." he replied with a shrug, putting his device away. "It's just something I do."
group
"That's fascinating," Tohru replied, "Do you do this everywhere?"
He kept walking up until he found the restaurant.
"Ah, this is the one."
