"For now," Jackson huffed slightly, "I wouldn't be surprised if you passed out at any moment."

"I wouldn't think so," Jackson was frowning slightly now, "Is it bad to say I'm a little worried about you?"

"…Ya really don't have to." Eric muttered, looking down. Why does he care…?

"Well, I think I'm going to," Jackson said very quietly, "So get some sleep?"

"I'll try." He said, looking up at him. "Okay?"

"Okay," Jackson gave him a little smile, "Trying is great."

"I make no promises, though." He said, seriously. "I doubt I actually will."

"I'll be asking you in first period every day from now on," Jax responded with a slight tease, "So please try and sleep?"

"Fine, darling." He said, rolling his eyes. And hoping to God his blush wasn't visible. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH-?

"Perfect, dear," Jax continued to believe he was imaging the blush on Eric's cheeks.

Eric played with his hands, humming to himself. "Won't be saying that tomorrow, angel."

"Whatever do you mean, love," Jackson asked Eric.

"I mean that, chances are it won't be happening, sweetheart." He said, smirking. "Even if I tried."

"Oh I'm sure it'll happen eventually, babe," Jackson began smirking as well glad to be back in the usual pattern, "I can be very persuasive."

Eric's face darkened more. "Shut up, beautiful." He muttered,

"Make me, handsome," Jackson responded as he watched Eric's face darken further.

"Don't tempt me." He said, forcing a smirk. What am I doing what am I doing what am I doing-

Jackson's face turned a light shade of pink and continued to tease Eric without thinking, "By doing what this?" He leaned slightly closer towards Eric.

Eric fought every instinct to lean back. "Dunno." He said, shrugging, leaning in the tiniest bit.

Jackson realized what he did and leaned back. He couldn't even look at Eric and his face was a bright red, "Shit, I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking. You're probably not, uh, like that…."

"I didn't mind…" He mumbled, barely audible. What he said at a normal volume ended up being "Bitch, I might be- wait, did I just say that outloud?"

Jackson looked at Eric in slight shock his face still fairly red, "Yeah. Yeah you did. You might be what?"

"Ya know… like that…" He said quietly, chewing his lip again. Now you fucked it up! He won't want to talk to again!

"I'm, uh, like that as well," Jackson admitted quietly in an attempt to fix the mess he created.

"…Really?" He asked, looking up. "Like, you're not trying to mess with me?" His voice was uncharacteristically small, and his eyes had widened slightly.

Jackson's hand went to rubbing the back of his neck as his face got hotter, "Nope. I can promise you that much."

Eric looked back down, face a bright red. "O-oh." He said softly, shoulders scrunched up a bit.

Jackson looked down at his sandwich and said quietly, "Yep."
