"So…" He said quietly, pulling a knee to his chest, wrapping his arms around it. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything." You stupid idiot, why can't you keep your mouth shut?
Hey, wanna gay one on one?
"No, no your fine!" Jackson insisted his eyes shooting back up to look at Eric, "I shouldn't have pushed in the first place."
Eric shrugged. "I started it." He said, eyes locked down.
"Can we agree with both to blame and forget this ever happened?" Jackson suggested seeing where this was going to most likely go.
"…Fine." He relented, looking up slightly. "Sorry."
"I'm sorry as well," Jackson gave Eric a slight lopsided smile. A little happier to get that off his chest.
Eric smiled back slightly, letting out a small laugh.
Jackson let out a slight laugh and grinned fully, "We're still on for tonight?"
Eric nodded. "If you're still willing to go."
"Of course!" Jackson responded resisting the urge to jump out of his seat. He was like a puppy dog at the moment.
Eric smiled at him. "Okay!" He said, cheering up a bit.
Jackson grinned and finished up his lunch, "Great! So the tree right after school right?"
Eric nodded. "Yep!" He said, grinning back. He doesn't hate me! That is a win!
“So what class do you have next?” Jax asked in his cheery voice.
"Music." He said smiling. "So that's good."
“Very nice,” Jax nodded, “I’ve got Choir next so same wing.”
"Cool." He said, nodding.
“Very cool,” Jax nodded along.
Eric hummed, playing with his fingers.
(Should we skip again? Or let the bell ring?)
((Wanna skip again?))
(Sure)
((To the end of the day?))
(Sounds great!)
Eric leaned against the tree outside, messing with his hair slightly. Why are you so nervous? It's not even a date! Calm down!
Jackson had spent the past few minutes in the boys bathroom trying to psyche himself up. It wasn't a date, just an outing with a friend. Potential friend. He took a deep breath and walked out of the school and over to the tree where Eric was standing. He gave him a slight smile and waved, "Uh, hey Eric!"
Eric looked up, smiling. "Hey, Jaz!" He said, pulling his hand away from his hair. Okay, so you look like a mess, but he's here, so don't be stupid.
"Are you ready to go?" Jackson grinned over at Eric. He needed to not be stupid or do anything stupid again.
"Yep!" He said, shoving his hands in his pockets so he wouldn't fidget as much. "Lead the way."
Jackson nodded and fidgeted with his strap as he started walking off the school property, "So, uh, how was your day?"
