(He should be scared)
Skye let his aura flow a bit more freely than he had last time, his amulet glowing. Get Lucas inside, I'll handle this. he told Marco mentally, Marco nodded, shifting back and picking the other up to head inside before casting the spell for a shield, sealing the entrance.
Soulmate(?) one on one (Closed)
"Hey! I wanna help too!" Lucas sat down, frustrated. Wait, he can't understand me. He shifted back and steadied himself for a moment. "I want to help! Why can't I?" He asked, looking up at Marco.
"That monster is too strong.." said Marco, watching as it and Skye started circling.
"What is it?" Lucas watched Skye anxiously, desperately wanting to get out and help him. I don't want him to get hurt when there's anything I could do to help…
Skye prowled around the dark furred wolf-like huminoid.
"Its a Seriga, a Nightshade Seriga…" said Marco, "A mutated version of a half wolf…"
"How do you fight them? I want to help." Lucas looked back at Marco. "If you don't tell me I'll probably just break through this shield and do it anyways. I'm not going to let him get hurt just because I'm stuck in here watching while he fights that thing alone."
Lucas don't…. Just stay with Marco on this one please…. Skye poke directly to lucas on that one, having been keeping an eye on him. Suddenly the Seriga attacked, throwing them both into a frenzy of fangs, claws, and magic.
"S-Skye? Is he… Is he talking in my mind?" Lucas sat down, his head buzzing. God, I hope I'm not going insane… He watched helplessly as Skye fought the werewolf like creature, not wanting to disobey the orders he thought he'd gotten in his mind.
Marco sighed, "Skye's a telepathic, he would've told you sooner, but you were having a hard enough time as it is…." he explained, forcing himself not to watch lest he go out there and get both of them killed.
"Can Skye beat it on his own?" Lucas asked quietly, putting his hands up against the forcefield.
"Probably…" he murmured, still worried.
Skye yelped as he was thrown back, shifting to land on his feet, power accumulating at his fingertips.
Lucas's heart was pounding. "I-I can't just stay in here! He could get seriously hurt!" He pushed against the forcefield, but it didn't budge.
Marco grabbed his hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze, "He'll be fine…" he said firmly.
Skye lunged for it, managing to get in some cuts on it's torso, before grabbing it's back, and latching his arms around it's neck, shifting he dug his claws in as well as his fangs, clawing at its throat.
Lucas started trembling slightly, even though Skye seemed to be winning. "Is there seriously no way I can help him? Even just from in here?"
"You'll just distract him…" said Marco, "He'll be fine, you just have to trust him…"
Skye dug further into it's throat, his paws and muzzle covering in blood, his foreleg had gashes from where the creature had tried to claw him off, but soon he had taken out it's windpipe, andit was suffocating on it's own blood with Skye on top of it.
The amount of blood coming from both the creature and Skye honestly made Lucas a little queasy. He couldn't tell for sure where most of it was coming from, but he was really hoping it wasn't Skye.
Sky stepped away from it tiredly, not daring to shift lest his appearance become even more disturbing.
"S… S-Skye?" Lucas said quietly, his face even paler than usual. He pressed his hands against the barrier again, unable to get out to Skye.
Marco made sure it was safe before dropping the barrier, skye used a portal to get rid of the boddy, leaving him still covered in mudd and blood from head to toe, spitting out some of the blood he sighed, watching Lucas and Marco.
"Are… Are you hurt…?" Lucas asked weakly, wanting to hug Skye but figuring it would be wiser to not.
"Nothing serious…" he murmured, "I promise you 99% of this isn't mine." he told the other, "I'm going to go find a river to wash off in okay?"
Lucas nodded hesitantly and sat down, ready for when Skye returned. If He's hurt, I'll heal him…
Skye nodded, and loped off.
Marco sat next to him, "He'll be fine.."
(I will be gone for the next hour cause I can't have stuff out cause mom wants me to put tech away before bed, so I will be back after I technically go to bed, (Cause I won't sleep till 11 at least no matter what I do…. and boredom…)
(Alright cool)
Lucas nodded again, transforming back into the golden retriever. He liked this form, and he knew Skye did as well.
About twenty minutes later Skye came back, soaked, and with muddy paws, and his forelegs covered in cuts, but he was fine.
Lucas nuzzled against Skye's legs, subtly healing the wounds as he went. Skye's legs were really the only part of him he could reach anyways.
Skye smiled lightly, leaning down to nuzzle him tiredly, before scooping him up by the scruff and carrying him back to the cave.
While Skye was carrying him, Lucas quickly looked at the wolf's legs to make sure the wounds had vanished. He relaxed a bit when he confirmed that they had and curled up next to Skye when he was set down.
Skye curled around him exhaustedly, too tired to do anything more.
"I'm glad you're okay…" Lucas said quietly, nestling himself into Skye's thick fur.
