"Welp, you're cute in my eyes." Griffin stood up and walked towards the group, not waiting for a response. "And I'll say this: I was serious, but I could be completely wrong."

@gracehustle

Dierra nodded and followed him, taking her spot back on the edge of one of the beds, "Alright, we're good."
"What'd he want?" Cassian asked, "Did he ask to let you win?" She shook her head and he shrugged, "Alright then, who wants to go next?

"Sure, I'll go. I have one anyways." Griffin smirks and bites his tongue lightly. "I don't know if these guys are blind or just plain stupid, but you are the most beutiful creature I've seen to walk this earth."

@gracehustle

She thought about her answer for a second, a small grin on her face, "You might want to get your sight checked then."
Cassian rolled his eyes and glanced at Griffin, "That was a rejection."

Griffin winced, but only for a second before he responded. "Nice one, but don't degrade yourself." Why am I offended? Why should I? It's just a game, Griffin. A game where you tried to be honest to a really smart, really cool girl… Dammit Griffin!

@gracehustle

"Alright," She said, nodding slightly before turning to Felix, "Ready?"
He nodded and thought for a minute, a small smirk growing on his face, "Abcdefghiujklmnopqrstvwxyz, I put U and I together."
Dierra laughed, "Why? N and O are already together." She shrugged, "I've heard that one before."

Griffin stifled a laugh, and applauded. "You are cold. Is that natural or what? Do you just always push guys away? We're not that bad. Well, some of us, maybe, but you get the point."

@gracehustle

"It depends," She chuckled, "right now I'm basing my answer off of how creative the flirting is." She leaned back slightly and looked at the ceiling, "Eventually I'll hear some good pickup lines."

"Hm. Out of all of us, you'd probably win, not because of your looks or your skill, but just by your neglection of pretty much everyone. Anyways, I think I'm dry out of ideas. I'm most likely to lose against you, Dierra." Griffin chuckled, biting his lip subconsciously.

@gracehustle

"I doubt that," Dierra said, looking over at him, "I think you could win."
Cassian and Felix listened for a little bit before starting up their own conversation with Cossett, talking about when and what they think dinner would be.

"Yeah, right. As if! I don't have the skills to necessarily kill, and that'd be the last thing I'd ever anticipate to do. This dang government sucks!" Griffin flops on the bed he was previously sitting on.

@gracehustle

Dierra shrugged, "I could've told you the government sucked," She stretched out her arms and sighed, "If I survive, which I don't think will happen, considering that there are at least a whole teams worth of people that are stronger than me, I want to try to change the government, either with a rebelion, or just getting into power and doing something to change it."

"What could you do by yourself, challenging the government? I said it sucked, but I doubt a singular person could change it." Griffin sighed, and his thoughts flew elsewhere.

@gracehustle

"I never said I'd do it alone." She did a little half smirk and looked at the ceiling again, "I'm sure that there are a ton of people who would help me."

"Huh? Oh." Griffin returned to reality. "I would, I guess, but, you know. Only one winner, not two."

@gracehustle

Dierra looked over at him again, "They've had more than one winner before, They had five one time because the overseer of the competition refused to have any of them die." She hummed lightly to herself, "I learned that a few years ago, when I had to do a project on this for a class."

"Hm. I doubt that the overseer would want me to live. I live in a pretty poor family, and, last time I checked, they don't care for the poor." Griffin sat up and stretched his neck, and then proceeds to rub the back of it, trying to ease himself.

@gracehustle

"That's true, but if you get enough attention, it won't matter." She shrugged, "Just make it through the first portion of the group, then start attracting an audience and you should be fine." She stood up and glanced at him before walking back to her bed and sitting down on it.

"An audience? Yeah, right." Griffin mumbled to himself and took out his pocket knife, playing with it skillfully.

(ok)
Dierra laid down on her bed, looking at the others and wondering what time it was. They didn't have any clocks in the room and she sighed, looking at the door that they had come into the room through.

(Timeskip…? Unless you have ideas?)

@gracehustle

(Yay! Timeskip would be good, probably to right around the time that they bring dinner for the contestants)

Some time passed and soon there was a knock on the door of the room, causing Ari to jump slightly. A few people, dressed in all black came in, carrying a small plate of food for each of them. They walked to the table in the center of the room and set the plates down, along with a small glass of milk and a cookie. The people walked back out as soon as they had set everything down and Dierra stood up, walking to the table along with the others. There was a slice of bread, a scoop of peas and a piece of chicken on every plate.

"FOOD! Finally! I thought I was gonna die!" Griffin was one of the first people to the table, and he quickly ate his food. It wasn't the best, but he'd had worse.

@gracehustle

Dierra rolled her eyes and grinned at Griffin's reaction, starting to eat her food. She was finished quickly and she drained her glass of milk, taking her cookie and breaking off a small piece as the others finished eating as well, "I'm pretty sure that as soon as they come back for the plates and cups, they shut off the lights." She told the others, getting no response as they continued to eat.
