The Man and His Assistant (CLOSED)

His heart thumped and he looked up from his phone. She blushed! They began to near the Palmer House.

Robin looked again at her phone screen and started a reply to the email she'd read.

When they got to the Palmer House he paid the uber and got out, rushing to open the door for Robin.

Robin blushed and stepped out. "Th-Thank you," she stammered quietly.

He also opened the hotel doors for her and smiled shyly.

She blushed. "Thank you, Isaac…"

Isaac couldn't help but to blush too. "It's nothing.", he shrugged. It isn't nothing.

Nothing? "I-I don't know where I'm supposed to go…"

"Of course you don't silly! Come on!", he enthusiastically led the way to the front desk.

She brushed her hair behind her ear and followed him.

He stood in line for the front desk and marveled at the old, golden building. "Isn't this place beautiful?"

"Yes, it's amazing," she marveled.

They got to the front of the line. "Check in for Isaac Whittaker.", he told the man at the desk.

Robin watched him shyly.

He got the room card. "Let's go." He led the way to the elevators.

She followed him quickly.

He pushed the elevator button and waited. I wonder what August is up to now? Was it a mistake not to… The elevators opened. He slowly made his way inside.

She stepped inside as well and bit her lip. Why was he acting so strangely?

Isaac was quiet the whole time until they made it to the room. When they got there he used to key to open to door to the beautiful room. "Do you like it?"

Her eyes widened as she took in the sight. "It's magnificent!" she cried excitedly.

"I know!", he said excitedly as he flopped onto the bed. He looked up at the old ceiling. True beauty.

She smiled, still gazing around the room. "It's amazing…"

"Do you want the bed or couch?", he asked, still lying on the bed.

"I'll take the couch, sir. I mean, Isaac." She winced at her mistake. It was going to take a little getting used to still.

"Alright." He took no notice of her mistake. He sat up quickly. "Do you want to go to the beach?"

She arched her eyebrows. "Now?"

"Whenever you want." He shrugged his shoulders.

"I think now would be nice…" she said quietly.

"Awesome!" He sprung up. "Did you pack for the beach?"

"Yes," she replied. "Where should I get changed?"
