conner pulls out his comm unit and in a pained voice he calls Ellis "hey man, i just injured myself… i was chasing gaia and tripped on a rock…"

"A-are you sure about that?" A blush was creeping up and her cheeks and she covered her face with her free hand. "You're the captain, which means you're my main priority. It's really your wants that should be fulfilled."

"Yeah I'm sure, Mari." He nodded. "As your….friend I should put your needs before my own. Captain or no Captain."

"Gosh, Conner will you be okay?" Gaia asked again.

conner laughed to himself "i'll be fine, i've had worse."

Why does he have to be so cute? Mari nodded, peeking out from behind her fingers. ". . .Friends."

"I mean….sure yeah we're friends….right?"

"Yeah." Gaia laughed.
