Sci-Fi RP with my character Ellis (CLOSED)

"Yeah…..only if you want to though."

"I don't care I'm good with whatever you're good with."

"Same."

"Well we can't just stay out here for the rest of our lives!"

"You're right. We should head back."

There was a stretch of silence. Ellis cleared his throat. "So….you never answered my question."

"What question?" She was hit with a wave of confusion as she stared at him.

"Do you want the ring or not?"

"Oh. Um. I want it." Mariko nodded. Yes, I do want it. Anything Ellis gives me is something I want.

"Okay great! Here ya go." He dug it out of his pocket and handed it to her. "Whether you where it or not is entirely up to you."

"Thanks." Mari slid it onto her finger and stuck her hands in her pockets, walking back towards the ship.

Why am I so awkward? Ellis sighed and followed her.

She walked up the ramp into the ship and started to retreat to the control room.
