Lokon Mynrod started his life poor and would have likely starved to death or died on some battlefield as a conscript had he not shown an early aptitude for magic, an aptitued he would train and push until he was consider good enough to join the military as a war mage, he likely would have stayed in that role for the rest of his life had he not sparked the interest of Richard Diok, Head of one of the Great houses and was subsequently moved into his personal forces, Lokon would serve with distinction in several inter house conflicts for Richard, eventually earning himself a commission as count and Command of Richards personal Dragoon unit the "Dragon company" who he would help lead to many victories. When the Taizan houses were coaxed into war with the Barthorians, Lokon cautioned his lord to hold back his troops and let the other houses bash against the wall that was the Barthorian army, he had a plan, and at personal expense he opened a massive portal directly to the Barthorian capital allowing House Diok to be the first to get there and wining they much prestige but also allowing them to force a quick surrender, ending the war quickly and lowering bloodshed, however Lokon was in a coma for weeks afterword having pushed his abilities far beyond what he should have, after he had caused the war that was beginning to like it would take years into only weeks he settled down expecting little, until Ryan LeTreis prince of another continent and confirmed slayer of dragons was found to be in his masters lands, and so Lokon was put to work keeping him out of trouble and entertained amoungst the Dragon company in a country where duels are sport
